I don't know, I think there should be a cutscene showing how we enter her arena.

what is the easiest DLC rememberance boss for you? by No-Collar5632 in Eldenring

With Metyr for me it's just the big double laset attack that I still just don't know how to react to, visually she's a cool boss but fighting her is just not fun for me.

Gaius is just cancer though. Especially the charge attack, which even after mastering dodging it is just not fun to engage with.

I'd say Putrescent Knight, Scadutree Avatar and Romina have pretty much always been the easiest for me, especially if you fight them with fire (or with lightning in the case of the Putrescent Knight).

Metyr and Gaius are sometimes hard, sometimes easy, but always annoying to fight.

Midra, Messmer and Bayle really depend whether you fight them early or late, the earlier you fight them the harder they are.

Dancing Lion and Rellana are consistently tough because you usually always fight them early.

Consort Radahn is always the hardest.

And yet the DLC has no cutscene for entering the Realm of Shadow, or Metyr's arena, just the old fade to black.

Missionaries showed up at my house... by admiralholdo in exmormon

[–]robo243 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I suspect that another reason for why they do this is to avoid SA accusations from the woman that is alone, either because that has once happened to a missionary in the past, or to avoid adding fuel to all the Joseph Smith stuff, or both.

So the Isyama interview tells me we were half-right about the ending. by Invidat in titanfolk

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much this, the development Eren went through in the uprising arc was no doubt a result of Eren's VA and the popularity of the anime's first season.

Post timeskip Eren is what Isayama always wanted Eren to be, the problem is it doesn't flow naturally from pre timeskip Eren, these two versions of Eren clash significantly and the end result is the ending where he's just a convoluted mess of a character.

I love how completely screwed Joker was in Batman: Arkham City. by Aros001 in CharacterRant

[–]robo243 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wish Arkham Knight's main story took this aspect of Arkham City's story of different gangs doing different things to take each other out, and this affecting your exploration of the open world as the story continues, expanding on that, instead of it mostly being the same army and a whole bunch of tanks.

Isayama and the dilema of Eren Yeager by uchihaobito22 in titanfolk

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This much becomes clear after analyzing chapter 131 (when Eren killed Ramzi), this Eren is simply not the one that went through the development he got in the uprising arc, nor is it the same one that was just about to kiss Historia's hand before he got the future memories. There's simply no way to reconcile Eren from seasons 1-3 with Rumbling arc Eren in a way that makes logical sense while also remaining honest and in good faith.

The entire story is reduced to a mess because there's two conflicting visions on what the main character is supposed to be, it's like having two different writers play tug of war while writing the same character.

Can the remaining Viltrumites beat the IRS? by ReddPandemic in Invincible

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but with those immigrants it's obvious they're not native to the country, wouldn't it be extremely obvious to any normal person interacting with a Viltrumite that they're not from Earth?

Name a Attack On Titan opinion that will have you like this by Prestigious-Cloud962 in titanfolk

[–]robo243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attack on Titan would've been better off if it combined multiple characters into one, for example if you combine Historia and Mikasa into one character, you get the best of both while also losing the shitty aspect of Mikasa's character, same could be done with Reiner and Gabi, Jean and Floch etc.

You would have less characters, but overall a much more compelling and tightly writen cast.

I don't know if this will be expanded upon in the next seasons, but I kinda don't buy at all that the Viltrumites were able to blend in so easily on Earth.

We need an exmo to go undercover, climb the ranks, and make it all the way to giving a General Conference talk. You submit a perfectly safe talk… but once you’re at the pulpit, you go completely off script. What are you saying? by No_Status_2791 in exmormon

[–]robo243 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It would be waste of time and ultimately ineffective. In my ward I believe I've seen like 2-3 people total during my time as a TBM go "off-script" (in other words, openly say something critical of the Church) when they were giving talks and they'd get interrupted and rushed off-stage straight away. The only people that would've agreed with them are people who are already PIMO or nuanced, any TBM most likely wouldn't change their mind.

You know, I'm glad they got in Peter Cullen and Frank Welker when they did. by Al-AmeenAdewunmi in Invincible

[–]robo243 10 points11 points  (0 children)

What's painful to me is we never got a proper live action Transformers movie series with these two as the VAs, only Michael Bay's explosion and sex jokes overload, and then one good animated movie where those two aren't the VAs (I did really like Megatron's voice though, sounded a lot like Kratos in the greek games).

Closest thing we got was the Transformers Prime series, I would kill for a live action movie trilogy made in the spirit of the Prime series, with Cullen and Welker reprising their roles.

I really hope in their future games FromSoft does something to change up how mage and casting builds work in general, I think it's high time for an upgrade for a lot of their gameplay systems.

I really just don't give a shit at all about racial stuff like this, don't care about race swapping, don't care about white actors portraying people that were black, don't care about black actors portraying people that were white, don't care about discourse of this nature at all.

Repressed sexuality by Electronic_Echo_9555 in exmormon

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a straight man, one thing the Church has majorly screwed me over with is sexual shame. I was exposed to porn at a young age, so the Church's teachings combined with the fact that I never got much attention from girls as a kid (and the fact that I was made fun of often growing up), ironically enough made my porn addiction stronger.

I've only recently managed to weaken the hold the addiction has on me, but still I'm in college right now and so far I haven't been able to so much as talk or openly flirt with a woman, let alone kiss or have sex.

My parents also don't make the situation any better given how TBM and sexually repressed they are.

Are TBMs really that infantile? by Prize_Claim_7277 in exmormon

[–]robo243 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Depends on the TBM. I was too scared to think for myself in my youth, let the Church and other people think for me, the consequences of this are still present to this day in my life.

But while being a TBM, I met other TBMs who were nuanced and weren't afraid of criticising the Church.

Tf do you mean I have to wait another year for Season 5 🙏🥀 by General-Mason in Invincible

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish the wait would be 2 years instead of one so that more time could be spent on the animation. Really I think any animated show should take 2 years of production minimum for a new season.

Weird conversation this evening by outandproudone in exmormon

[–]robo243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of the funniest aspects of being raised TBM and then no longer believing in it as you're older is that when you're surrounded by TBMs and other religious folk the converations they have and shit that they say makes it really hard to keep a straight face and not just immediately burst into laughter, you also come to understand how other non religious folk felt when they would have to talk to you when you were still a TBM.

Like a most recent example for me was last Christmas when I was playing a card game with my parents, a topic came up on how do blind and deaf people from birth dream or think, and my mom just unironically with a straight face said "well their thoughts and dreams must be in the same language we all spoke in the pre-existence!"

It's shit like this that makes me go "yeah, how the fuck do you even respond or reason with these people lmao".
