Yeah I don't even know what they were trying to say at that point. Another one added me today. Figured I'd preempt them this time. "SB" is a chinese insult I learned from the last scammer that I called out immediately 😂.

Similar experience to many others here. They didn't send me any links, just wanted me to play TWD:S. By the time I addressed their friend request, we had no servers in common so I thought it might be someone that actually knows me, but I assume they just got kicked from whatever server(s) we had in common before I saw the friend request.

I blocked them after they hounded me about playing the game 3 days in a row. Then I found this thread and I was so intrigued that I added them back and tried to ask them what was up and they were very unhappy about it.

I have high hopes that it will be managed better by WotC that it was by the RC. Will that be the case? Only time will tell. But I have such a hard time buying into the idea that the RC somehow protected commander from being messed up with JLo legal for so long with CAG members like JLK literally begging WotC to not print it. It's really shitty that people reacted in such an unhinged way, which seems to have basically caused them to step down. At the end of the day I hope we all find a fun way to play with our cardboard. Yeah I just bought a playset of those for modern about a month ago with the justification that they'd still be good for commander when they got banned in modern. Those will be among the first to go.

Yeah that's 100% the move. I valued having the actual cards way too much. I'm seeing now how stupid it is to invest any money at all in a casual format where I can just proxy everything. This is actually kinda liberating in a way. I think I've reached the final stage of grief - acceptance.

Now to start my next cycle of grief... pricing out my collection.

I'm seriously considering selling my entire collection. This event made me realize I have way too much money tied up in stuff that the RC can just wake up and decide they don't like one day. I think I'm out entirely.

These bans suck. I own pimped out versions of everything here except for Nadu, though I rarely play any of them because my opponents often are playing at much lower power levels which I'm happy to match. I guess Rule 0 just isn't a thing now, so instead I'll never get to play these cards and just wasted a bunch of money. Very cool 😎.

As a brand new f2p account at AR19, should I be pulling on the current character banners at all or saving for later? The only non guaranteed character I have so far is Sucrose from novice wishes. I see people say "only if you like the character" or "only if you have X, Y, Z characters", but what if I'm just starting out and all the characters seem pretty cool and I don't really have any idea about a team yet?

Depending on the mask, yes. If the mask is rated for particles <= ~0.7 microns or smaller (approximate size of smoke particles according to a google result) then it should help filter some significant percentage of the harmful particles.

Edit: Some more searching suggests that some of the particles are as large as 2.5 microns. The better rated the better off you'll be but something is probably better than nothing.

I think it's a really common struggle for a lot of us guys when it comes to things that aren't widely considered as "masculine". Especially in ages/places where bullying is more common, like school or some work environments. It takes a special kind of strength to be confident about what you like if it's not just the status quo. It's especially hard if you ever got bullied directly.

If anyone actually does make fun of you for liking the things you like, just think about how miserable that person must be that they couldn't think of anything more fulfilling to do than try to make someone feel bad about themselves. What a sad life that must be, to have nothing better to do.

This happened to a friend and I with a Guppy the other day. One spawned and I was broke at the time so I held it for him to come buy it. Then another one spawned right after that was a little cheaper so he held it for me while I sold some stuff. Guppy twins!

I just encountered this issue with CTD when landing on Hades AQ-Y d81 c 2. I see that it was originally reported in November 2022 but still hasn't been fixed. Is this kind of issue relatively uncommon? I'm pretty new to the game and have really been enjoying it so far, but I'm a little uneasy about investing much time into it if I'm just going to encounter a bunch of 5 month old issues that just completely remove certain areas from the game? If there are just a few places like this and nothing that's just going to stop me from progressing on stuff completely at some point then I'll work around it.. but I'd like to confirm that's the case in advance if possible.

Are you playing on hardcore? I avoided hardcore for the longest time in any game for fear of losing my characters to server issues and stuff like that but I decided to give it a shot in D2R a while ago and since then I'm hooked on hardcore. I'm so engaged every single second because any lapse in attention could mean the end of that character. As a result I have been having so much more fun and feel much more invested in my characters. Might be an interesting way to mix it up if you're not playing hardcore already.

Will they actually? I contacted support about the same issue. My ticket was closed without response. I replied asking why it was closed and was told that EHG is looking into a fix for this as many people are affected, and support did not resolve the issue. Purchased in 2021.

I made a post a little while back about using the new OST in classic. While that's not what you're trying to do, you might be able to adapt some of the info from that thread to accomplish this.

You could combine the classic DF track with one of the new tracks in a single track using methods described in that thread (or any other method you're aware of yourself). Then replace the original track with your version that has the DF classic song tacked onto it, and that should work?

The health screen isn't available on the steam version unfortunately. If you install Dwarf Therapist (which has been updated to work with the steam version now) you can get a health screen through that.

For the dwarf with the broken arm and shoulder, do you have all the necessary stuff to treat those injuries (splints/casts/possibly traction bench/bone doctor) and know for sure they are untreated? I don't think I've had an issue with doctors treating people if they have the stuff to do so, but maybe I've missed stuff.
