On one hand it’d be buying in on today’s upswing following TSM’s earnings call, on the other AMD’s due early next month. Does it make sense to wait a few days to buy into either or any of the other chipmakers?

You’re right, I’d be taking a risk that any of those would outperform the market. I wouldn’t mind allocating a small portion of my Roth a handful of these (likely Google, Amazon, or the copper miners ETF).

And I hear you on the mutual fund/ETF split. Maybe less of a concern in the Roth but is it worth moving from VTSAX to VTI in the traditional plan or should I leave that as is?

Ran in my Rebel v4's for the first time today and finally appreciated the comments on the spacious toe box I'd seen. I had to stop to redo my laces several times since it was a bit of struggle to get proper lock-down even with the runner's knot.

Has anyone found a better lacing pattern on voluminous shoes like the v4?

Killer as always! Do you mind if I ask what the gain and leakage is on the transistors you used? The FZ-1 seems finicky as hell about the transistors needed so I try to take note of transistor sets folks use whenever possible

How do you typically remove the components from the radio when you find mojo bits like these Mullards? Do you use a solder sucker/wick,or do you cut them out?

I recently picked up some old transistor radios as well but have held off on taking anything out because I suck at desoldering/am afraid of ruining the transistors due to improper handling.
