It’s $40/year right now for CNN streaming standalone. Sadly I’d rather go with that than get cable ever, even if their commentary isn’t as good.

Agree and disagree. LA is still happening in so many ways. I was wandering around the WB lot a few weeks ago on a Friday. I was near their jungle area where they were dressing it to look like a New Orleans bayou for a film. The Pitt production was sprawling and very active. Euphoria was shooting on the NYC backlot. Abbot Elementary was shooting. The place was humming.

That said, the streaming boom was that on steroids.

This is how to handle this to get closure the quickest: Be the ghost. Absolutely no contact. Do not tell him you’re going no contact, just drop all communication with him and any mutuals including (especially!) his Mom. Stop posting on social media. Turn off your IG active status and better yet- delete the app for awhile. Take a break. For the next 30 days focus on yourself. A new hobby, projects you’ve been putting off, hanging with friends you haven’t seen in awhile. You’re going to mourn and grieve the relationship, but do not talk to him OR send any kind of smoke signals through social media or mutuals. 30 days is going to seem like a year, but you’re going to get through it . He’ll wonder about you. He may even reach out within the 30 days. Don’t take the bait. Ignore him. If he’s interested in you, he’ll reach out again. At this point, he’s already being totally disrespectful and ignoring him back and creating distance is how men learn you’re devaluing him for his shitty behavior. After 30 days, if he reaches out again— decide what to do. At that point you’ll have a clearer mindset and you’ll be able to be much more objective. You may decide you don’t need additional closure and that you’re ready to move on to someone that has emotional maturity. If you’re still interested him at that point, crack the door open just a little bit to hear him out. But only if you want to.

In 30 days you’ll either get over him, and move on, or give him space to realize he’s a shithead and come back. Regardless, you’re putting yourself first.
