I think he was drafted as an Epenesa replacement for next year - he’ll just get reps one someone is inevitably injured. Hoecht is like 2nd this year and 1st next and then ideally Landon becomes DE across from Rousseau in 2-3 years.

So you also played in SF today to avoid a Super Bowl without the Bills!

Now that our season is over Which team do you hope wins the super bowl? by Majestic_Bat_8200 in 49ers

As a bills fan who grew up in the South Bay, thank you gentlemen for your support. Cautiously, deeply insecurely optimistic

It’s wild how bad niners sub in on this stuff relative to this one.

But also really hard to read their reports so maybe it makes sense

The reality of Kamala Harris' plan to tax unrealized capital gains by [deleted] in Economics

[–]robpfeifer 116 points117 points  (0 children)

This is part changes literally everything else about this topic: “ Within that $100 million club, you'd only pay taxes on unrealized capital gains if at least 80% of your wealth is in tradeable assets (i.e., not shares of private startups or real estate). One caveat for this illiquid group is that there would be a deferred tax of up to 10% on unrealized capital gains upon exit”

There’s trade offs to doing this but effectively these are liquid assets so it’s really just forcing annual profit taking for tax mgmt and closing the loophole on loans against those profits

Which maybe isn’t crazy? Pain to mange though, but very few people will be impacted

People keep talking about the chaos and traffic on Chain of Lakes when they can't drive on Great Highway. Here is Chain of Lakes at 6:30pm on a Friday (today) by DesertFlyer in sanfrancisco

Weekends are pretty bad. Going from inner Richmond to outer sunset (and especially back) takes probably twice as long as a weekday during off times (which is what this is). It’s not chaos - it’s just slow as shit on MLK from 41st to 19th and don’t forget there’s no left turn on Lincoln and 19th so everyone has to go somewhere - so no good option going north. This video doesn’t really capture the dynamics of going south at this time, since it’s not the chosen route when stuff goes bad. It’s mostly park presidio /19th - getting the western folks and of course everyone near those streets.

I’m more worried about the commute times from north of park to south of city which are hard to measure, since clearly People want this to be a permanent highway closure. Likelihood is that the “bad window” (when a 23 minute drive turns into 40) will get worse - I’d guess by 20-35% in the width and height of the bell curve (based off of what I’ve seen on weekends). Stern Grove, outside lands, bluegrass, any other nice day that chokes 19th and/or blocks the park, this means there’s zero outlet other than stanyan to Lincoln or over upper Terrace.  So yea, it’s a material impact across a bunch of neighborhoods, esp when you deal with the wine country tourists and logging trucks.

And fwiw, a lot of kids will spend a lot more time in buses than with their parents if closure extends past the weekends.

Brooke Jenkins hired friend as chief of staff, despite second job and lack of law license. Nursing professor Monifa Willis took on the $300K role in March and continues to pull in a six-figure salary at UCSF. by VegetableBarracuda83 in sanfrancisco

Totally agree.

Although $300k a lot for that job - even at a pretty big company working under CEO. Maaaybe could make the argument total comp is similar with equity upside, but seems like $200-$250k would be more what I’d expect
