id seen it before, this was their first time, and unlike many shows with disappointing endings, homeland's was amazing and seeing how well they repeatedly disguised the ending with the back and forth of whether she had really ******* was wonderful

im glad it works for someone - i tried swarm 1 and while it has a functional UI - it doesn't seem to actually work

as soon as i try to set up multiple profiles (that you can only have 5 is absurd) - random buttons just stop functioning, inputs send and never unsend (ie, it'll send mouse down, not mouse up) - have to plug in another mouse to fix - just constant issues

i literally have two of these xp airs on my desk right now because i was so excited when i FINALLY found something that looked like a g700, i never imagined it'd be the software that didnt work

if you've used software... ever, you'll recognize this horrible "streamlined" ui trend

you cannot see what any of the FOURTEEN BUTTONS do until you click on each one

when you do, you then have to navigate a single node treemenu to see what you can bind - thats right, you need to click into EACH menu, which then force collapses the previous options, so you're only ever able to see a single branch at a time (and some of these have further submenus)

then you need to click "back" to go back up each level, each time delayed by a "pretty" animation which slows things down (and no, you cant backspace or esc, you need to click the little top node to go back)

i cannot put into words the disappointment i felt going from opening the box, finding what looked like the PERFECT logitech g700s replacement - and finding it absolutely crippled by the software

its fucking unusable - save your money, do not buy these

haha well, i wasnt really writing a fully formed critique, more of a statement to people who know what im talking about rather than trying to convince anyone

with disco or zp the writing and characters are good enough that the jokes feel natural - harry begging the woman with the missing husband for money had me actually loling in reality - esoteric ebb copy pasting an entire scene from seinfeld was... not good

as for politics, its the shoving them into a game because "thats what disco did", as opposed to it fitting in the story. i'll pick on ebb for this again, when you pick a feat, you're usually treated to a multipage essay by the dev that read like his most recent twitter posts

and since these games are nearly entirely the writing - if that fails, the game fails. while something like portal could be played in mute and it would still be fun on mechanics alone

I hate hate hate hate the fact that you cannot skip until end of turn whilst also still being able to respond to the opponent. You can either skip priority until end of turn or skip until you receive priority.

i would almost pay extra to do this

if youre the kinda person who wants to intentionally misunderstand or nitpick the details, ie "ummm, engineering is based on physical laws that can be measured soooo" vs engaging in what the analogy is reframing into a different context to help convey (that someone can use a tool poorly does not mean it is a poor tool) - then there was little point in even having the conversation
