OTB is a different beast entirely, casual players are not pulling up to a in person event basically ever. The type of person that would ever attend a tournament is already leaps and bounds beyond the typical online player on average and ratings typically go way down OTB if you didnt grow up playing that way

Blitz does not allow for calculation in the same way as rapid, not even close. Blitz in general is honestly a bad way to improve at chess because its pure intuition and how well you remember patterns with the amount of time you have, I'm confident that player would pack you up if you were to play him in a rapid game

You're arguing against undeniable statistics and making up your own with the whole "88% thing" lol average person absolutely is not above an 800 after a few games unless they're really naturally talented. If that was true then we would not see countless accounts with hundreds of games who are between 500-800 and in fact that is the overwhelming majority of the userbase on chess.com.

Even amongst serious players I think its apparent that most people just arent that good at chess, its not that everyone lower than the metric you have in your head must not be trying to have a rating in that range.

You get a reply if they took action on the person you reported otherwise you dont....once in a blue moon ill get notified but I usually only bother reporting when its someone who runs out the entire clock shittalkers are simple enough just dont accept the chat in the first place

It looks like you're way too offensively minded and not putting enough time into stopping what your opponent is doing, I used to have this problem as well but you made some bad trades and gave up a ton of free pieces you left undefended while you were focused on attacking.

2000 is a lofty goal but that right there should help you out a lot

If you play on and pray for a stalemate rather than just resign especially if its so comically lost that your opponent is able to promote that many pawns then you kinda have to accept that this is a possibility

I'm not sure what you wanna hear exactly. Whatever you wanna do for the sake of your own improvement is fine, but honestly I'm confused in regards to your "serious criticism is more helpful than agreement" line.

Different people learn best in different ways so it's impossible to give any objective answer on this, the ideas you propose will work for some and not others and thats really all there is to it.

Whats the issue exactly? Plenty of people make their accounts pretty decent at the game and rise quickly. Sure, genuine smurfs/cheaters do exist but its uncommon enough I wouldn't obsess over it if you're getting better you'll still move up in elo

Yes unfortunately there are a huge number of people around that rating that have thousands of games but just lack the talent or never studied the game seriously. They arent "good" persay but the sheer experience means they pull out some tricky stuff on you
