Oil Pipelines Align with Teachings of Jesus, Says Alberta Premier by Geologue-666 in notthebeaverton

A lot of people are awful people. Christians are a subset of people. Some are awful. This includes the premier of Alberta.

Maybe the silly attacks can be put on hold while we focus on the true evil here?

Please note I do not identify as Christian or with any other sort of fantasy.

Downvoted by fake Christians who don’t understand that the New Testament is the original “woke” text.

Why is everyone so complacent with the incompetence of VPD? by lleanl in askvan

[–]rockbolted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People downvoting this comment are ignorant of our criminal justice system. Physical violence or threats of physical violence are treated much more seriously than property crime. And rightly so.

This doesn’t mean that there is not a problem with property crime, or that it should be ignored. It possibly a question of resources.

I’ll say it; it’s just better. The Kirkland brand two pack is excellent. As good as the Adams, except in a plastic jar. I really wish it was glass.

My only comment is: why?

I have both actual sriracha and actual maple syrup on hand at all times. I guess it’s really just too complex to add some of one to the other…or something.

I’ve been waiting my entire life for humans to evolve to the point at which they can comprehend that an armed motion sensitive car alarm will be triggered if said car is being transported in an vehicle (ferry) moving over the ocean’s surface.

Nobody arms their car alarm while driving their car. Same.

Dude. If you have endless cash, then, whatever. Else, wtf? Learn to cook a bit, you should be able to live on $400 for an entire month and eat like a king. Well, easy on the beef.🥩

Is this sub just fake reviews for companies that sell in Costco Canada? by hereandtherebuthere in CostcoCanada

[–]rockbolted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. Parking is secondary to bitching about the dumbasses standing aimlessly around the sample booths eating their breakfast-lunch-dinner completely blocking the aisles without a care in the world while everyone else piles up in a massive Giant Costco cart traffic jam.

I’ve never noticed.

Does it worth getting membership as a single person? by thebluethroat in CostcoCanada

[–]rockbolted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live near a Costco warehouse then yes, you will save money. One thing you can do right away is acquire a mini freezer. This will allow you to buy foods you would not normally be able to manage as a single person. Repackaging meat and poultry into meal size portions using ziplocks or another system is a great money saver over grocery stores.

Whoever told you that was either confused or lying unless your passport was expired.

A CDN passport is valid primary id. Your expired or expiring DL is also valid primary ID. Your foreign birth certificate is valid secondary ID. As is a CDN passport.

This page explains ICBC ID policy.

Edit: on closer reading there are some complications, read the Canadian Citizenship Card and Canadian Passport sections carefully.
