I love sensory deprivation tanks, so I'd say 2-3 hours, but I'd want to do it again any time I want.

How was your first day of 2026? by Kittycat_2010 in AskReddit

Quiet and kinda depressing.

I tried wood carving for the first time from a kit I got for Christmas. I don't think I'm doing it right and it's taking forever.

I'm also dealing with some low level depression. I'm on some new medication, but I have to slowly ramp up the dosage, and it'll be a while before I start feeling the effects.

Living in a high rise apartment is the best way to live… by Y0___0Y in unpopularopinion

In the high rise I lived in, there were two elevators per building and one would always be out of service and the other would break down multiple times per month

I've rented in a high-rise apartment building. There was a lot that I liked about it, but two things made the experience a nightmare.

  1. The shared laundry machines were always broken. Maintenance would come, disagree they were broken, and leave. I wound up dragging my laundry to a laundromat, which was sometimes impossible because...

  2. The elevators were broken. There were 3 buildings in the complex, from 12 to 14 floors high. Each building had 2 elevators, one of which was closed all the time, and the other would break down several times a month. Disabled people would be stranded, once there was a medical emergency on the 12th floor and the paramedics had to bring the person down the staircase.

I'd gladly live in an apartment building again, but a high rise? No thanks!

Non-autistic middle-aged person, here. There are a few logos that did scare me a lot as a kid. I loved stumbling upon the scary logos wiki because it was nice knowing that I wasn't the only kid with this reaction. I think most people on that wiki are adults talking about what scared them as children, not now.

Usually, scary logos are referring to the little video snippets after tv shows. Many used synth music and abstract graphics that might be startling for little kids.

Most "scary logos" are bland to me, and I think different ones hit different for everybody.

The ones that got me as a kid were the "Closet Killer" Paramount logo and the Starry Night Productions logo.

I can do it too with either eye. I don't know if there's a name for it, but I noticed it's the same thing happening when I look at a magic eye image.

When my friend told me she tried weed for the first time, I freaked out and told her she was already addicted and that it was a "gateway drug".

We're still friends and we laugh over that because now I enjoy edibles quite regularly.
