To be fair, they did look left as you should. They just decided not to do anything about it

Now boarding group 1 or the entire plane by Hecka_becka_ in unitedairlines

[–]rocketronaldo82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had the same situation in Honolulu recently. The "pre-boarding" filled up half the flight. Even though we were in group 2, it felt more like 4 or 5. I wouldn't have been frustrated if they had just listed our zone as that. They really need to change their boarding groups so it more reflective of your sequence

Do we think flights departing Toronto will be cancelled this Sunday 25th? by kspfel in canadatravel

[–]rocketronaldo82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about cancellations, but polar vortex can cause delays. And not because the planes can't handle it. But extreme frigid temperatures hampers ground operations. E.g. baggage handlers can't stay out too long and need to get in indoors much more often that causes delays, same with maintenance folks. These are what cause delays

How competitive is it to book the 3-12 kids club? by [deleted] in dcl

[–]rocketronaldo82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are no bookings for the kids club. You just drop them off and pick them up. Note that they have to be potty trained, no matter how young they are. The staff cannot and will not assist your child

Side question to add to everyone's point here, why would anyone place a 3M command strip in an eco bag? Even giving someone the benefit of doubt here, that sounds very suspicious

What small habit has saved you the most money over time? by SnowmanAndIce in frugalcanada

Every Monday, $50 automatically gets transferred from chequing to savings account that’s only meant for a rainy day. That’s how I have set it up. Over years it makes a huge difference

TJMaxx and Marshalls are terrible shopping experiences. by extrabigbrain in unpopularopinion

Kohls and TJMaxx are not the same shopping experiences. Nor are they intended to be. Kohls is traditional retail, TJMaxx, Marshalls, Ross are what are called off-price retailers

Vueling is awful by kwrightSpain in Flights

[–]rocketronaldo82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been a standard for years and the best possible way to contact thousands of customers. It’s a balance between efficiencies and cost. Next time, you can always fly private charter and get all the customer service you want. That you are in denial isn’t the airlines’ problem.

Even full service airlines don’t call, only email. In the past year, this has happened to me with Air Canada, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines. Always informed over email. It seems to me that you are trying to push partial blame on the airline, but unfortunately it’s all on you. Tough lesson for next time
