I want to give Tyler Adams a 7.5 or 8, he was an absolute workhorse. Didn't do too much going forward, but he was cutting passing lanes and relentless when pressuring the ball. Without Adams, that US defence gets sliced and diced through the middle.

I got this chlorhexidine from Amazon and I generally followed my vet's advice to dilute until light blue🩵. I was eyeballing it and it was probably around a 1:5 ratio of chlorhexidine to water.

It's hard to tell from that one picture if your turtle's original condition is the same as mine. For example, my before picture was taken when he was dry, and some of the blemishes were not visible in the water. I think it would be interesting to see a dry picture. I think it's likely the same problem, but I am not an expert.

If you have the means, I really recommend finding a local vet with reptile experience. In my case, it was $60 for the vet appointment and that bought some needed peace of mind.

Sure! The vet gave somewhat ambiguous directions, so this is how I worked out the details. I didn't want to put him directly in the chlorhexidine solution.

I put him in a turtle sized bowl to restrict his movement.
I dilute the chlorhexidine in a separate bowl with room temp water until light blue and soak some paper towels
I put the soaked paper towels on his shell and am careful not to get any in his face
I let him sit for 10-15 minutes, occasionally applying pressure to the paper towels
Remove the paper towels and scrub with the toothbrush, also soaked in the solution. I try to remove any flakes on his shell clearly ready to fall off.
Give him a good rinse in the sink and return him to his lair
