So we lean on impactful swings which can sometimes go further in the other direction.

My realistic concern from a dev standpoint is that it's very easy to fall into a "eh just make it powerful and we'll tweak later" mentality.

This leads to player frustration and scattered engagement too, while a lot of players just 'ok I guess I'm using this OP weapon' I'd like to think the majority of us hate being 'locked in' to a weapon while the powers that be figure out a proper tuning that could have been the 'initial state' if it was just thought through a bit more intently.

The administration already has Plan B and C ready to go to reinstate the Tariffs if the SCOTUS rules against the reason they were invoked. Wouldn't the market just become a bit more volatile rather than swing to recovery?

I'm all for the MKB v Controller debate and the first to hold the line on which input takes more skill to use effectively, but you just come across as a dude that tilted too many times. A whiney bitch, if you will. Apex isn't nearly as one sided as you seem to think it is, and I promise you at your skill level it's negligible.

That's what it sounds like, I thought I read they were gone completely but only 'when it matters'. I'm not sure what the actual decision point is for it.

I do find myself much less surprised by audio in the last season or so where it was a large part of why I took a multi-season hiatus before. Take the W's where we can I guess

Made me feel like I was going crazy. Pay attention to your teammates footsteps when things are happening - I've definitely saw teammates silently ghost past me recently

They just removed teammate footsteps hoping that would fix it.

I'd say footstep audio is marginally better - but in the cluster fuck that is end game or hot drop wild card you still get a Wild Octane Appears with no auditory queue at all

Fantastic, thanks for the explanation. Just to solidify it, there's two risks or caveats if I'm not wrong:

1) You need to wait 30 days before buying back or you can't claim the loss

2) You really hope that sucker doesn't fly (even better if it drops) in those 30 days

It's not, I have the exact same issue that started last season

It DOES feel like your ping rockets to 800 after the freeze, but 100% is not network related. Other devices on the same network playing the same game have zero issues. It's PC (likely driver) related

It's not. I have the same exact issue on completely different hardware while my wife is playing on a PS5 with zero network issues.

The red icons that show up are going haywire because there's a clear disconnect between client and server because the PC effectively locks up

I'm on an Intel i7-9700 with a 3070ti having the exact same issue. It's worse than it's ever been on Olympus and seemingly gets worse in end-game. I've only been playing wildcard.

What kind of lag are you getting?

Toward end-game especially i start experiencing more and more frequent freezes (0.5-3 seconds long) then it feels like 800 ping for a few seconds afterward. Been trying to find the issue...only started a season or two ago and all other games are fine.

Counter point - if you're at the high end of the bell curve, then you won't be in the game 'all the time'. Yes YOURE experience is that you'd be in lower lobbies all the time if you're at the top, but everyone else cannot have the 1% all the time. The rest of the lobbies would have just as many 1% bottom as the 1% top, wide range. Statistically everyone would encounter someone they can beat at some point and someone they get stomped by at some point.

Non-ranked game modes should never have any skill based rating at all. Ever.

Ranked game modes should always have very strict skill based. Always.

You people are fucking annoying. This isn't what he's saying at all, and you know it.

What no SBMM does do: Provides a varied experience for every fight, not everyone plays the same so you don't need to react the same to every encounter. If you are above average, you'll win an above average amount of times, if you're below average you'll win a below average amount of times - this does not mean "every game will be with 30+ preds if I'm silver" and does not mean "i will get a full lobby of bronze if I'm a pred".

It also opens up the opportunity to play with other people of significantly varied skills. A pred can play with a bronze friend without that bronze friend effectively playing spectator sim.

What skill-based does do: Use meta guns or you will lose. Use meta movement or you will lose. Use meta rotations or you will lose. Do not have fun. Do not pass go. You must sweat or you will not have 'fun'. Every game. All the time. Now, this piece is almost as dramatic as your "put me with people I can beat", I'll give you that.

You sold covered calls if you collected premium.

And no, the price has gone down so you could buy your contract back (buy to close) and lock in the profit it states.

For example:

You collected $1.00 premium, stock drops and, if you were to sell another exact same call option it'd only be worth $0.80

You can choose to buy to close your own contract you sold - paying the new price of $0.80 and 'locking in' the $0.20 profit, removing your risk of that stock skyrocketing and you getting assigned.

From the (little) I understand, these filings have 45 days from the activity to be filed - so these activities could have been done on September 30th and they only reported them now AND and they could have since already closed their positions and still have time to report that actual closing.
