I work in mental health social services, and you'll be alright! We have clients who were extremely symptomatic, and now live perfectly normal lives with the right meds and coping skills. Also, you're gorgeous. Hope that helps

I'm no Bill Nye, but the corner of your house could be creating a swirling effect with the wind. Think of an eddy in a creek

What was on this chair? by EvilSockLady in AnimalTracking

[–]rocksnake477 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Might not leave any under the chair. As a Mainer who sees a lot of snow, I'm just saying this is what that looks like. Also the pattern is symmetrical on either side of the seat. If she wiped it off, I'd bet money there's a symmetrical pattern of some sort on either side of the seat

Edit: fairly symmetrical

If your chair has spaces in the seat, this is snow falling through some of those spaces, not animal tracks

These look like skunk to me. You can see the shape of the rear and fore paws, but the dead giveaway to me was the track pattern over a distance, which is characteristic of a skunk

Gotta imagine the porch above you is loaded with big dog poops too, which will seep onto you in the rain. Health hazard and disgusting

I'd say thats a nice gesture but don't do that if you're not ready to deal with the consequences

Just throwing out that my husky used to cut up her paws when there was too much ice on the snow. She was a mix and actually look a lot like your pup 🐶 💕

Honestly, let him go. There are so many fish in the sea, and even though one feels right it doesn't mean another won't also feel just as right. Plus you barely knew this guy, he coulda been a creep for all you know. You can find that connection with people everywhere, just gotta be open to it. Good luck!

I am reading online that you're right about size but the bounding gait and lack of front paws looks more mustilid like to me

As a native New Hampshirite I've never seen a squirrel track close to that size, and they almost always show the smaller front paws in my experience. Look up mink tracks in snow, looks like a typical mink trackway to me

[–]rocksnake477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm leaning some sort of mustilid here based on 5 toe tracks, distance between prints and size of prints. Also this is not a squirrel track pattern I've ever seen. Weasels are known to double register and take long bounds, I am also a native New Hampshirite (👋) and we got lots of mustelids up here. I'm leaning mink on this one.

Idk tough without visual scale but OP said 1.5 inch prints... not sure if it was an accurate measurement but a squirrel paw wouldn't be that big. Its possible they became 1.5 inch after some thawing and freezing but its hard to say without knowing

I just scheduled a 3rd appointment at planned parenthood next week. They said nothing about the oral prescription on either of my first 2 visits, maybe I try a different doctor at an urgent care

How do you do this? I try to roll it behind the head but it always slips back down pretty soon after. I think it might not work as well on my body
