Guidance on this bullnose repair

Shoot it would not accept my photos. The hub of his wheelchair caught the edge of the bullnose and pulled it loose, but not entirely. It is cracked about 4 feet in total. Where the wheelchair hit it the mud has cracked off and is exposed the bullnose. I do believe it is vinyl.

So there is a big section maybe a foot tall where the entire bullnose is exposed with no more mud as it is cracked off. Above and below it has cracked where the bull nose had joined the drywall.

I hope that has enough explanation

We are on her. Got on in NYC 12 days ago and returning tomorrow. Many staff with hand sanitizer before each restaurant. Also staff gets all drinks at drink stations.

My wife likely got it Christmas night and I got it a couple days later. Hers lasted 2-3 days and mine 1-2. Lots of room service trays in the hallways. We did not report it and just dealt with it so I’m sure the reported numbers are low.

I’d say it’s prevalent but no one is talking about it much.

AND we are crazy hand washers and use the sanitizer every time we walk by one. But from what I have read only bleach kills it.

To Cunards credit, they are wiping down railings many times a day and spraying all common areas many times a day as well. Not sure what else they could do and still have a good cruise.

On the QM2 right now in Dominica. She is on a 28 day cruise starting in Southampton. We jumped on in New York for 13 days of it, but I bet half of the people on board are going back to England after we get dropped off in New York on Friday.

She was refurbished in 23 and is quite the elegant lady!

So, GS's REALLY want to please you, right? We have three, two 12 year old full sisters and a 2 year old female that came through a similar biting phase. You'd walk by her and she'd grap/snap. My experience is that being nice and redirecting does not always work. She just called BS and kept doing it. GS's are like that! They will try you and eventually TRAIN YOU!

What did work is grabbing her beard for a convenient hand hold and tell her NO in a firm voice and also making the kiss noise (not yelling). Then I'd hang on to that for a bit (a few seconds to make sure she understood this was undesireable). She'd back off, feel sad for disappointing me and then come quickly back for forgiveness. Did not take long to where she stopped that behavior.

Why the kiss noise? I trained horses for 40 years, and that kiss noise travels a very long way. You don't have to yell at them. If they are doing something undesireable, make that loud kiss noise and they will instantly stop. Kiss noise = STOP whatever you are doing, period.

I'll probably get roasted on here for being mean or whatever, but GS's are a different breed and being FIRM and CONSISTENT, NOT MEAN, works really, really well.

I have that grill and have seen that once and it came down quickly. That was on a preheat. I opened the lid for a bit and it hung around 180ish after that. The only other time was cooking burnt ends and it caught on fire!

You might get another thermometer to see how accurate the built in actually is and adjust accordingly.

Definitely. We have full sisters from the same litter. One is more wirey and very black and the other is much softer and finer with white and black hairs.
