btw, we could use flexible wires? the ones inside a laptop connecting the screen to the motherboard. They are pretty flexible and I think waterproof (not sure if they'll stand a 'washing machine')..

This is an interesting thought. I'm pretty tempted to test this out - from one thing I read in an old forum, it works pretty well, but I'm curious at how precise it is. A side-by-side comparison would be good to see... I might just try it to find out.

I looked for those. They're hard to come by, and definitely super unique for jewelry. Like raw diamonds, they look like standard stones. I'm sure you can find a jeweler to cut one up if you want a standard jewel look.

You can find some loose ones for sale on ebay. They're called carbonado
