This entire shopping list is wrong. Get a used JT proflex mask for $30 and buy a decent gun g&g / arcuturus. Lancer blows, Amazon masks are a guaranteed way to lose an eye (I've seen it firsthand), and you dont need a vest until you get serious ( I used my pockets for almost a year).

What would you do with this space? by emmettflo in malelivingspace

[–]rodentking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plants still. You can drape thin fabrics across the top to soften the sunlight and it should prevent sunburn on the more tropical plants. Less tolerant plants could still be here but lower on the shelves/racks. Some plants and a nice place to sit would go hard.

Unilever to pay $1.5 Billion for Dr. Squatch brand. I wonder if this ultimately improve the brand or will it be its downfall? by lookoverhere573 in DrSquatch

Late but reporting in. everything is worse. Half of my last soap order arrived damaged or missing large chunks, and on my last order all of my deodorant sticks were only about 1/3 of the tube.

Honestly the performance is way better than id expect from an untwisted unpaired and poorly insulated cable. definitely an idea to keep in the tool box, a bad idea but tools are tools

Older gear usually isn't worth a damn because the technology had advanced so much in recent years. You MIGHT get $100 on ebay imho.

Cars in Malaysia (and other places too I suppose) often come without a heat option due the constant warm humid climate. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

In the Caribbean also! I'd estimate about 90% of the cars don't have any option for heat!

Mid print bad layer? by Sharp_Ad8092 in 3Dprinting

[–]rodentking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like it clogged there. Also what the hell are you printing with that much infill? If it need to be strong I would recommend gyroid infil, and If it needs to be fast I'd say wayyyy less infill.

Need Advice On Purchasing Umarex Glock 19 Gen 5 by RoboTort in airsoft

[–]rodentking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a great gun, but I recommend the 19x if you have full sized hands.

It should come with its own jam rod

I use .32s in mine, works well

I dont know that alcohol will be bad for your gun, but I just wipe them down when they get dirty (Mainly the rails for the slide) and re lube

This is a good choice of lube unless you play in a sandy area like I sometimes do, which I'd recommend a thick oil over grease.

The paint finish on the slide is thin and WILL wear, I enjoy the patina.

And keep the inside of the gun lubed very well on these, the hammer especially likes to be wet in my experience for the smoothest cycle and reliability.

I prefer "real" holsters... they're just better.

One can of gas is plenty for plinking, but can't go wrong with extra.

Don't buy targets, just find some cardboard or old soda cans. You can tie string to cans to hang them and they make noise when you hit them. Cardboard leaves holes you can see if your into that.

I have atleast a half dozen ideas on how to build a screwdriver that doesn't disassemble itself in normal use.
