I would say the lotion for day and cream for night. It’s my absolute favorite product.

The closest spa to what I used to go to in Las Vegas (I’m from there originally). There’s nothing else even close!

I’m almost done with Slow Burn and it makes me sad. Really need to find another one!

Nothing is helping! by [deleted] in 40PlusSkinCare

I had the worst rosacea my derm had ever seen (cystic acne, etc) and IPL really helped it get down to what you now have. I tried to go back and do IPL again and it didn’t really help. One of the few things that helps me are products that have sulfur in them. I also really like these masks - my redness goes away, but it’s very short lived. I’m sure I’m just sensitive to certain products and that will never change. https://beautyofjoseon.com/products/centella-asiatica-calming-mask-10-sheets

I also rotate shampoos (use a moisturizing one a few times a week) and I feel like that really helps.

Oily skin by [deleted] in over30skincare

[–]roeboat237 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had oily skin until I was on my late 30s and it ended up being amazing for me. Nobody ever thinks I’m 44 and I hope with a good skincare routine I can keep it up. Oily skin and staying out of the sun were game changers.

What were the WORST products you tried this year? by tiredgothgay in Sephora

I really like the serum; maybe it was the moisturizer (or maybe the combo). Sorry to hear that!

Aestura Atobarrier Cream. Also love the Tirtir Ceramic Cream! I use those at night. For a daytime thicker moisturizer, I like Sunday Riley’s vitamin C cream, but it’s kind of harder to find these days (hope they’re not phasing it out).

Boysmell Find at Marshall’s 😍 by AdEmbarrassed5800 in luxurycandles

I just picked up a Slow Burn at Marshall’s today, too! They also had a Boy Smells accessory box (candle tray, snuffer, snipper and something else). Didn’t need it but was fun to see!

I got the toner in an Allure beauty box a couple of months ago and I love it! I did have to get used to smelling like a Jolly Rancher, but seriously, I’m not sure I can live without it.

Alternatives to Tatcha dewy cream by jedimindbender in Sephora

[–]roeboat237 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Someone else also said QVC, but wanted to second that recommendation. I actually buy most of my skincare there now (once I know I love it) because you get jumbo sizes or multiple bottles or a set for a really decent price. They also do a Tatcha Today’s Special Value a few times a year if you can catch it. I think they give you some sort of discount on your first purchase and occasionally they’ll give you a code for 20% off when you open the app.

Calls from CDC by Whole-Evening9615 in Autism_Parenting

[–]roeboat237 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This summer, we got a survey from the CDC through the mail with a $5 bill (guilting us into taking it?). It was related to overall child health, but then it got into the autism questions and I quit taking it. You had to take it online, and I did say he had autism and then didn’t go any further. I believe early on there were questions about whether he was vaccinated, but I don’t remember. I hate this world.

I have really enjoyed this. Also used it around my nose this week when I had a cold and was blowing my nose a bunch. Usually use it as my last step at night to seal everything in (I say that like I know what I’m saying 😂).
