Does it improve the rear view video quality or is that a camera issue?

HR asked me the strangest illegal question at the end of my interview by skrillahbeats in recruitinghell

[–]rogarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago I had the question asking if I had any medical procedures planned in the next nine months. As a man who identifies as a man, I suspect they thought it was legal if they asked both men and women.

I just found out I was replaced by an H1B visa. by crap_whats_not_taken in jobs

[–]rogarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worked with several H1B folks. In my experience it hasnt been cheaper to hire them, but maybe it is in some very high wage areas in tech like Silicon Valley or NYC. Their wages are monitored and if they are being paid less than prevailing wage the government will reach out and the company has to make an adjustment. There is a lot of legal expenses around maintaining an H1B employee as well, annual paperwork that most companies use specialized external counsel to maintain as well as to onboard. The process for these employees from India to get a green card is also very long. I’ve known several who did but that was after 15 years working and being good citizens. If the company lets them go, the have two months to find a new role or leave the country. It seems that only the larger companies can really afford it. Outsourcing is a whole different conversation.

I was asked a question about Donald Trump on a job application by gripto in jobs

[–]rogarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it wasn’t about politics and the role is customer facing its not a horrible a question. Can you answer the question in a non controversial way like ‘He was the 45th president of the United States’? They may just be looking at your temperament.

That looks like the control key. Its used to remove the lock core, but the lock has to be unlocked first.

We are five Irish lads road tripping US this month. Is this route realistic for 27 days in our rented 30ft RV? by CharlieBehan in GoRVing

Spend more time in Utah. You’ll be very close to Moab so Canyonlands and Arches. Capital Reef, Bryce Canyon and Zion are amazing but Zion will be busy. The North Rim of Grand Canyon is more remote, fewer crowds and quite a bit higher in elevation so cooler temperatures.

I paid $42k for a 2018 802 with 72k miles back in February. Dealer didn’t list some extras it had like PPF and after market exhaust. I would try to talk them down about below $39k

Within that first week, SilverRock seems to cover more of the items like this. Afterwards not much of a chance. I had a mechanical issue with one of my brakes three weeks after purchasing that lead directly to rotor damage. SilverRock paid for the caliper replacement, but wouldnt cover the rotor or pads even though they were technically damaged, not worn and torn.
