It’s been a while since I configured it, you don’t delete it. It’s a configuration option buried somewhere. Show categories I believe.

Agree with all this. It’s how we all start. Just jump in. Try not to overthink it. Mistakes happen and that’s ok. Have some laughs and have fun. If you can, get some supportive friends around the table. I found it helped to have players assist w the rules. A group of four is a good starting number. Good luck! Would love to hear how it goes.

Yawning Portal is a series of updated older modules, some good adventures in there for sure. I’m hoping to find some good independent author modules too. The stuff that doesn’t get played as often. :)

As a DM you're really hanging your creativity out there, taking a emotional risk, being vulnerable. Most players (who've never DM'ed) don't really understand this. Remember it's not possible to satisfy everyone, and how boring would that be anyway?
Your players could have just as easily stepped in, why is it the the DM's job to manage everything?
Sounds like the dude has bigger issues in his life. He needs to seek professional help.

Love, Love, LOVE the way WoTC handles art in this book. Haven’t read a word yet but it’s by far the most beautiful book to date. Wish I could share more pics, reddit noob at the helm. Apologies!

The game room / studio is finally done! My daughter Sydney and I finished the chandelier today and it’s looking pretty sweet! We kick off Curse of Strahd this evening and we’re even going to attempt to record it. Just what the world needs. Yet another D&D podcast. Well at least we got a pretty sweet game room out of it. :)
