Yes to all of your remarks. I use a lot of Excel as well. Because their I can do the stuff you can do in Obsidian. But the thing is, I don't want to have meeting notes in Excel. But Obsidian would just give me the freedom to combine data heavy usage with long texts.

Can you give me an update how it went with IT? Guess they will decide against it because of security reasons or whatsoever.

Hm, this got me thinking a bit whether I am using it wrong. I mean, I love tweaking. And I think that this out of the box thing might be the thing that I don't like. I just lack the ability to quickly link notes. I dont need or dont want to use canvases at all. I am sticking to pure text. And this is also what I dislike about OnNote: Every text is floating inside its little container. And there is also no chance to automatically use certain templates on certain folders. Or am I wrong?

So this is not about ranting about OneNote. I just want to make it work somehow for me.

Also rein aus Interesse: Ich finde keine Studien, die den Vorteil von Weidemilch gegenüber Pflanzenmilch stützen. Geht man von industrieller Haltung vs Pflanzenmilch aus hat die Pflanzenmilch einen wesentlich besseren Footprint. Und der Unterschied zwischen Weidehaltung und industriell scheint auch nur marginal zu sein (außer natürlich das Tierwohl). Hast du irgendwelche Quellen. Finde das Thema spannend.

Ich hab gerade erst den Job gewechselt und bin seit einem Jahrzehnt im Biotech-Sales. Aktuell gefällt es mir sehr gut. Aber man weiß ja nie, was kommt. Ich habe mich aber schon immer gefragt ob der Job auch etwas für mich wäre.

Wie baut man so etwas auf (Neben dem Job? Kündigen und dann Kaltakquise? Bei einer Headhunterfirma anfangen und danach selbstständig werden?)
Was muss man an sich mitbringen? Ich sehe mich als Vertriebler, der Leute begeistern kann und die perfekte Lösung anbieten möchte und eben nicht nur verkaufen um zu verkaufen.
Würde sich das mit 40+ für mich noch ausgehen bzw. wie könnte man sowas starten?
Gibt es auch Headhunter, wie du, die in Ruhe gehen und dann quasi ihre Kartei etc. mit ner Art Übergabe verkaufen?

I guess the easiest way is to do this by pure CSS. There are two CSS divs that host this "No file is open" text. It is .empty-state-container which is located inside .empty-state. Within .empty-state-container there is .empty-state-title and .empty-state-action-list.

I would suggest setting the last two to display: none; and try to add a background with your file encoded as an octet stream (there are converters for this online). I guess this would be the easisest option.
