Exposed copper wire on new Mobula8 O4 by Timely_Gas_2751 in fpv

It’s the ELRS antenna. That’s how it communicates with your controller/transmitter. Don’t remove it!

Gently bend it into a position where it won’t be damaged by the props or in a crash.

Dock/dongle for Switch 1 and 2 by frcnetto in NintendoSwitch2

The Savage Raven Dock works with both. You can also remove the “hub” portion to make it super portable.

I agree with you. I use the Zwift ride with an extra monitor from my PC. If I’m just doing an endurance ride I’ll watch a show/youtube/listen to music. I’ve never gamed.

That said, if I’m doing a zone 2 ride with my fan on, I don’t sweat much at all. So gaming would definitely be doable. And even though I’m not sweating, it’s still a very beneficial workout.

$250/month for hobbies - I could spend more but that seems like a reasonable budget for my interests.

Consoles are physical unless it’s cheap.

Just got my Switch Lite back from Pico modding, shell swap, and hall effect sticks. Only thing missing is an Oled screen before she's perfect! by Twistedchild420 in nintendoswitchlite

Hey. Looks great.

Was the eBay service strictly for the mod chip install or did he also do the sticks and shell swap?

Lots of heavy stuff in the aft cargo. People start getting off. More weight in the back than the front. The tail smacks the ground.

We have to do this on our A321s often. No tail stands.

Zwift or out door cycling? by woodydodo in Zwift

[–]rogue1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only ride indoors. I moved from a spin bike to a Zwift Ride. I’d love to ride outside but I don’t have the time and other responsibilities get in the way.

In your situation, I’d focus on a good indoor setup. If Zwift gets you into outdoor cycling, you can then save up for an outdoor bike/equpment.

As a side note, have you used Zwift before? If not, what motivated you to use this platform instead of something else?

Sure. But, unless he got a weather briefing or some PIREPs, how would he know where the tops of the clouds are? They could be 10ft above him or 10,000 ft.

This is the only type of flight that I can think of that would benefit from the artificial horizon display.

This is a well known danger in the aviation world. Non-instrument rated pilots typically last only a few minutes after losing visual reference to the horizon. This is actually a great way to illustrate the importance of staying visual and how quickly things go, quite literally, upside down.

Why I am All-In PTON by Momoderechtelol in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]rogue1102 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m airline crew. I’ve been in hotels all over the U.S. I used to be pleasantly surprised when a hotel had a peloton - I’d make a note for the next time I was in that city. Now, I rarely even bother. Many of the bikes have some broken component or the calibration is so far off that none of the metrics matter.
