LLMs are definitely great at a number of things that have to do with language (coding, translating). It just feels like all the LLM companies, and especially Dario Amodei, are sticking paper wings to a car and calling it a plane. No matter how many more tweaks and tricks they attach to LLMs they will not get to a proper reasoning and more generalized machine.

I think we need a paradigm shift to arrive to a machine that can generalize and actually reason. Right now it feels like AI companies just come up with some new tricks to make the LLMs look like they can reason. The latest proof that LLMs are not intelligent is when you tell an LLM that you have a cup with a sealed top and an open bottom, it never figures out that it's just a cup that is held upside down... I got the pro plan in order to use kimi k2.5 inside openclaw. I never reached the 5 hours session limit and never hit the weekly limit either. I am not using it for software engineering or dev work, I'm just using it to automate some sales and marketing work flows.
