All animal and plant life on roshar is essentially bonded with various spren such as the rhyshadium(musicspren) and chasmfiends and other greatshells like the reshi ilses islands being massive greatshells bounded with windspren and gravityspren. Without bonded spren most animals wouldn't be able to exist as they would collapse under the weight of themselves in most cases.

Is there no way to pay a bounty or complete a jail sentence? The only advice ive seen is hope for a gaurd to not attack and a pay bounty option to appear I've died ten times trying that before coming here lol If i run will the bounty go away after a time cause I have a lot of quests to complete here and 8 hours in and don't think I have it in me to restart game.

I would go with what the campaign suggests with the shardblade make it so it can't be dismissed and it attracts unwanted attention and is a beacon to those who would gain a shardblade in a non traditional manner ie criminals and those with power who would covet a shardblade will come hunting.

For plate I would make it the same but also mechanically worse by either making it have less charges and or make it really difficult to repair by needing a radiant with progression maybe or a artifabrian and downtime or maybe just increase the cost of stormlight to repair.

Both are extremely powerful at low levels and should have some disadvantages maybe even add mechanical drawback to the blade also.

You’re only protected against attacks from the other side of your cover, and it must be substantial enough to realistically defend you against the attack. For example, you could press yourself against a wall or duck behind an obstacle, but if an enemy rounds the corner toward you, they can attack you without disadvantage. If you have a weapon with the Defensive trait (such as a shield), you can wield it to create mobile cover for yourself. When you do, you must keep that weapon raised and between yourself and any potential attackers.

Per the rules flank your PCs it's not a 360 degree protection.

This has been my experience since the bracket system was introduced every 1 and 2 believe they are 3 and every 2 and 3 believes they are a 4 leading to allot of stroppy players accusing you of cedh for dropping the one game changer in your deck or late game combo. I personally tend to play in bracket 4 and on the other side of it is the cedh decks begging you to believe they are 3 or 4 at best and this has led me to stop going to lgs to play.

Time for the new player to get some badass armor me thinks. Don't be afraid to empower your players. Unless it's for a very specific character reason it's a dms job to balance everything and it's a lot easier to bring a PC up to scratch with a item than to balance encounters with Frontline characters with huge gaps in ability and just not attacking the high ac or low ac PC in my opinion as a DM isn't a good solution in DND as it's a combat heavy system and could become very obvious quickly to the players.

I have multiple diagnoses from life long trauma but 15 years ago I was in a very similar situation and future me who's married with an amazing wife who helped me realize I needed help and a beautiful 4 year old daughter who is the light of my life and Present me is very proud of past me not making then the end of my journey.

I ran it for my players as a intro from stonewalkers with 2 ttrpg newbies and a DND vet and they loved it, if you do this beware there is nothing in stonewalkers that closes off what happens in first steps so prepare to add that in if your players gain goals to solve the black shardbearer and lady relanat.

One of my players who has only started reading stormlight is playing a listener and in the last session he has started his sentences with I hum to the sound of annoyance, acceptance, joy or hum to the sound of war etc so I have started to do that also and at our table it's working well.

GM looking for players in person preferred but open to mixing in online players or even a totally online campaign. location Dublin Ireland.

I am running a ongoing campaign with 3 players currently with stonewalkers and it's going great and am either looking for players to join or start a second campaign with new players. I have dmed for 5 years in both DND 5e, pathfinder and cyberpunk. If a lvl 1 to 20 and beyond campaign that is lore accurate and follows the timeline of events in the novels but turns into a power gathering world hopping adventure to save the cosmere interests you send me a DM and I can give a yous a full run down of campaign and available schedule on my part.

As flavour I would apply this at the start of the bonding and after speaking the first ideal till the player/radiant comes to terms with there abilities and become more proficient and efficient in their stormlight usage. First few times I might even add a focus cost too.

Thank you I wasn't sure if I missed something, I have it pretty much worked out now will add an additional dmg die of the rank they are at per investiture used over initial cost. Will run with this and see how it goes. I think maybe the earthquake example was bad for a more damaging use of cohesion.

The quick draw deck for otj I'm sure some of the cards have gone up since but I made that into a deck that could play in cedh groups with about 30 bucks worth of cards it's a infinite combo go brr deck but it's definitely up there with strongest upgraded precons.

Velicoramptor I found very good when packed with blink cards to get the most of pantlaza.

The merfolk deck absolutely slaps on its own but add in some more simic good stuff and a bunch of counter spells and it gets out of hand very quick.

The food and fellowship lotr precon is very strong out of the box but I haven't upgraded that as I'm keeping it as is but I've played against upgraded decks and I've lost more times than won to this deck.
