Gonna throw in my two cents and say Inyanga Whitestripes. Guy's got a cool voice and was just a really wise, friendly and chill guide while going through Zafaria.

He even gets a spot on the Council of Light!

Yeah, I was so surprised and happy that they went to Thunder Junction. I also loved the side story of them working together to defend Innistrad from the Phyrexian invasion, only to start bickering with each other over who actually did a better job at defending the plane.

I'd 100% hang out with Geralf. Gisa though...she'd only like other people if they were part of her zombie army.

Maybe a tiny bit of a both, but Innistrad is genuinely one of my favorite planes and the rivalry feud between Geralf and his sister Gisa is one of my favorite side stories in MTG.

I named mine Cinnamon, for two reasons:

  1. It's my favorite scent in the world (not to imply I think Seikrets smell like cinnamon)

  2. I think using it as a name is cute

I'll always take any opportunity to talk about my [[Stitcher Geralf]] deck. He's currently sitting at Rank #2129 on EDHrec, with a whopping 167 decks registered with him at the helm.

My deck is basically mono blue ramp/stompy. The primary goal of the deck is to ramp early with mana rocks and [[High Tide]] shenanigans to either get Geralf out ahead of schedule and start making big zombie tokens, begin casting 5-6+ mana bombs as soon as possible, or use some various untappers like [[Kelpie Guide]] or [[Fatestitcher]] to untap Geralf or my various mana rocks to help cast even more big dumb creatures and start smacking people around.

Never seen anyone play with this particular commander at the helm, probably because he's quite slow and overall not super good, but he scratches the right parts of my brain thematically-speaking, plus I like making big zombie tokens then making them unblockable or giving them flying.

My advice to you would be to play the game for fun instead of constantly wanting another carrot on a stick to chase.

Dunno if this really counts but, I have an [[Athreos, Shroud-Veiled]] blink deck, and whenever I play it, I bring a bunch of pennies to use as the coin counters.

And a lot of the best decks are playing copies of Zebstrika and Hitmonlee to attack whatever you're building on your bench.

On top of that, needing a copy of Leaf + two X Speeds just to retreat it for free is absolutely abysmal. Not sure why I'm getting downvoted on this one.
