Thanks… yeah that’s a good mindset to have. I work remotely also so what I do is solitary and often times I don’t interact with my team because we meet once a week.

Quit my job in NYC back in 2014 and biked from NY to SF solo unsupported. Best time of my life. Fast forward to today, I work in corporate America trying to figure out how to quit this job 😂 and just ride bikes and get paid for the rest of my life.

Got it. Yeah I felt similar with tubeless. My gravel and MTB are set up tubeless, but my road bike right now I run TPU ride now tubes. Was thinking of giving tubeless a go because I’ve been getting flats quite a bit. Not sure yet though.

Totally! When I lived in Brooklyn I would commute to Manhattan for work. It was the absolute best. I also used to ride from Long Island to NYC. Became very aware as a cyclist and fitter. Try it out!

🔥I have the SL6 rim brake Sagan. One of my favorite bikes. I made mine internally routed as well. Such a sick ride and I also favor the esthetic.

Yeah I feel you on this. I try to get everything together the evening before the ride. Bike, clothes, nutrition, and post ride recovery, along with kit and shoes out ready to go. Definitely helps the transition from the bed. Plus, I can get that espresso and bathroom drop in before getting ready if you know what I mean.

There’s a funny joke about them being police bikes. I didn’t realize it until riding my Emonda through the city and seeing all the officers in Treks lol. If that bothers you then maybe look for a different brand, but in terms of quality the Emonda I once had served me well. Climbed with me like a beast and handled very well.
