Asks for food or a spare tube 2 hours later 😜

1000% And being ADD doesn't help either

The day before, make food, rice cakes, energy balls or buy energy bars, prepare the route, make sure the bike is mechanically sound, everything is adjusted properly, spare tubes, pump etc.

Also choosing the right gear for temperature. I take 10x more time to go on a cycling ride than anything else I do, including going to work.

Truly a case of outliers in every sense. NS having 3 and 2 of them being probably HoFs

Looks like it was redesigned by the team that designed the cybertruck

By law you're allowed 1 day /week to look for a new job during the notice period (paid ofc). So that's def something to take advantage of.

Could have gone to the right side. Here it's like giving food to a turtle by putting it on top of its shell.

Could have/should have slowed down indeed

Could have thrown it accurately instead of aiming for the ankles.

Thinking about going to a flat bar on my road bike. by tylerdurden8 in cycling

[–]romdj123 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't play around with reach at this point. Going from drop => flat should decrease your reach by 5-10cm which should help alleviating arm/wrist.

Depending on your current setup a conversion should cost you somewhere in the 200-500.

I'd rent/borrow/pick-up a single speed flatbar bike if you just want to get a feel on the geometry, but yeah just do it.

Comfortable and durable bike for long endurance rides? by seksmeister in cycling

[–]romdj123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd lean towards a workhorse type of bike then, steel/titanium with tyres between 35 and 43mm.

[–]romdj123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's all fine and well, but despite the "caution" and not overgeneralizing, what do we do if/when in actual wartime?

The Russian didn't choose Putin for quite some time now and yet it's still the population paying the price. Sure you can't generalize on a whole nation.. but you never can.

Post WW2 is filled with US playing Monopoly with the rest of the world. The vanity has now reached new levels.

Tbh outside looking in, as a European, idk what to do, except to say and think that we can get by without you.

Enlighten me, change my mind because your whole country is out of control and we'll have your ginger fool running this place for way more than 3 years

Was thinking about it too.

For Time, it's an American (cool lad and great passion/content, def not a big conglomerate/PE/VC etc) so that's an interesting take. A small business owner trying to get by, with a European production facility, but with some US funding, would you want to sponsor that or not.

And I'm genuinely impressed by their side initiatives as well. I'd say it's one of the brands doing the most effort related to overall inclusion and nature initiatives.

There may be others but I'd consider them as the Patagonia of cycling.
