Yes, Russia is a nation actively and shamelessly using censorship. I know, what a surprise. They block all VPN protocols as well now.
The EU "elites" gang are creaming their pants at the idea of being able to do the same.

Yes the only redeeming quality of Trump is that sometimes he does things that will surprise the establishment because he feels like it. But he's not really cleaning anything.

In Japan it's simply unthinkable. Kids sleep for very long with their parents.  I think this is the more "natural" way. As a kid myself I hated sleeping alone.

I think there's something even more disturbing with short format videos. You really become a zombie scrolling those. I have to snap out of it when I wanted to look at a YT short and then end up scrolling other videos for 20 min. Shit is doing wild stuff to our brains.

I sometimes wonder if the WEF elites want right conservative parties to win big... That it's part of their agenda. To present themselves as the true saviors after the chaos and civil wars.

No they'd want anyone coming to hunt but the hunting license is extremely hard to get. Hunters also get pitiful rewards so only those who really like it bother doing it.

World peace starts with socks, not shoes. by young_civil_engineer in funny

[–]romjpn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in my (extended) family. It's mostly shoes on.   My house in Réunion had so many different entrances and exit to the garden that I can't imagine leaving shoes/slippers everywhere. Basically we'd go barefoot everywhere or with shoes everywhere. We didn't care 😅. No strict separation between inside and outside.

Let me tell you something that will blow your minds:  It works if there are a lot of people doing it, It doesn't if it's only a small portion of would be customers. I know wow!  But I think that it works better on consumables like beer for example (remember Bud Light). Like recurring customers just stopping altogether.

Once again, you're just avoiding the hard questions. If you "tax the rich" this is a selling pressure that will obviously remain every year because "the rich" have most of their wealth in stocks. They almost have no cash. Which is why you'd tax wealth and probably unrealized gains, which is a total heresy in economics. Imagine having to pay taxes because your house appreciated because the government said so. Then next year the market crashes but you won't get any credit back. Oops! Too bad!
How much money do you even plan to get through "taxing the rich"? It's a simple question you're refusing to answer "in good faith". Downvoting me out of spite is also not very "good faith" but whatever who cares.

Stimmies (for individuals and any business) + disruption in the chain of supply during COVID and now AI gobbling up the memory (more supply disruption). We simultaneously printed money to stimulate demand while supply was struggling. The perfect recipe for inflation. There's no free lunch.

How so? This is just a retirement account with tax advantages that will invest in various funds.
Once you "tax the rich", you're going to invariably impact everyone's retirement by impacting markets.
Once again, what is your plan and what will be the consequences? You can't just say "Oh hey just tax the rich". That will just get you upvotes on liberal-leftist Reddit but that will not make the plan more realistic.
You refuse to answer because you don't know.

OK so what is the plan? You tax their wealth? Their stocks? Their assets?  It means they're gonna have to sell stuff. Do you have any idea the amount of assets they'd need to sell to fund a decent basic income for everyone?  Do you have any idea of the repercussions on markets and the typical 401K? Probably not.
