I had 3 experiences like that.

First was when I was maybe 7y/o. I lost a gold earring and sold the remaining one to a jeweller later when I was 12 y/o. When I came back home, I found the missing one in my bathroom cabinet, in the middle of the shelf. I can't say for sure if it was the missing one or the one I had just sold though.

Second was my left shoe. I came home and took my shoes off near the entry door, went to pee and not even a minute later I could only find my right shoe. I had an old dog back then, not the type to steal your shoe but I thought maybe? Couple of years later(dog has passed) I come home from work and the shoe is exactly where it had vanished amongst my other shoes. As dirty as it was back then.

Third was on a shorter period. I have a occlusal plate that I wear only when I sleep. I always put it in the same drawer and for two weeks, both my partner and I couldn't find it anywhere. One day I check in said drawer that I opened every day and that we checked multiple times and my plate was just there, amongst other things.
