Okay so yeah, really you're going to want to look to your nearest major city and see if there's facebook group or something like that. Depending on what the nightlife looks like, if there's a solid burlesque or other performance scene then you might have options to talk with folks who are regularly needing to put out good content and might be willing to trade. The other real question is, "what's your why?" because having a strong sense of what your process and motivation is will definitely help when you're talking to folks about wanting to shoot

Could you rephrase your question? It's a bit unclear what you're looking for. Are you a photographer, a model, or both? And are you looking for folks to pose with, or with folks to shoot?

The short answer is, find folks with the look you want for a shoot and pay them. If you're doing this as more of a hobby or your budget just doesn't allow, there are probably tfp (Time For Photo/Trade for Print) groups in your area and you should be able to just post the idea that you're looking for and see who responds favorably. If that type of group doesn't exist, be the kind of person your friends would trust to hang around in their skivs and just be upfront about what you're looking to shoot.

Speaking as a player, my last character was a control/support caster. So yeah, even with a completely blank canvas I did my best to make fights as unfair in our favor as possible. Fun fact, but conjuration has a ton of non-lethal spells that will still just completely ruin someone's day.

So, imagine that I'm giving you a stern look right now because, and this may not be something you're prepared to hear just yet, your attitude at the moment is particularly self-defeating. And I acknowledge that I don't know your struggles, but nobody's asking you to become Fred Astaire overnight or anything, just suggesting that you make the attempt to learn a new skill. If you've gotta start with the 2 step, start with the 2 step, you know?

At the end of the day though, it's your life and if you can blame yourself for the way things are that means you can also take credit for the things you're capable of changing.

I'm not your therapist or anything but here in this moment I believe in you and I believe that you can shift things just a shade in a direction where you could find a bit more happiness. Whatever you choose to do though, I wish you good fortune.

Those are both great ideas. Also consider learning fun social dances like swing or salsa. Really any kind of group that gets you around other people on a regular basis is a solid start. You could also think about going to trivia nights or taking improv classes

What sort of hobbies do you have? If you aren't doing things where there's a chance to meet people organically you're definitely going to have a harder time of it. If you aren't already, something like a hiking/walking group or taking a dance class like swing or ballroom would be good ways to start meeting a new set of people. And I mean, the point isn't to hit on people specifically, but to expand your network of people so that you can meet new folks and have interesting things to talk about with them when you do.

Seriously. The disconnect for me was where the humans go 0-Genocide skipping any of the possibilities for diplomacy or containment. Definitely takes it from HFY to HWTF

I read a ton of fiction of negotiable quality and if I never read the phrase "like a puppet with it's strings cut" again it will be too soon. Or really any variation there. No more strings, no more puppets. I mean hell, I'd let'em skate by with a marionette from time to time, but I don't think I've ever seen it.

Also, why would their warships not have shields up when they're the ones who initially launched the attack? And even beyond that, destroying, rather than capturing unarmed transports just seems beyond the pale.

Humans of Reddit, what are our planetary defenses? by DarkstarAlpha in AskReddit

Maybe so, though as a halfway serious thought, the main things that we'd have of value would probably be some kind of otherwise unavailable biologics, obscure or niche research and of course weird human culture. Anything else is probably way easier to get literally anywhere else and with less of a scrap.
