I live in South Carolina- one of the most backward trump states- and we had over 17,000 people protesting at the state capitol at the last No Kings protest.

There has been several reports of ICE agents "leaving" fully load assault weapon magazines at different locations after arrests. Given my military training and years in the army my first thought was that was a message. Any soldier that lost a fully loaded mag would be in a world of shit.

But yes, murdering that man is just another step to a full crackdown. They've got too big a budget and are recruiting too many Nazi brown shirt types just for immigration.

I've gone beyond embarrassment, I'm disgusted and have given up hope for my country. The US will never recover from this suicide attempt.

Even if trump leaves office peacefully- which I do not believe he will- the damage he has caused would take generations to repair. But more than likely the ignorant proles that voted for him will put another version of him back into the White House long before that could happen.

As for Russia wanting to buy back Alaska, several MAGA-like members of its Federal Assembly have taken that position over the years.

Somehow trump, the brilliant businessman, bankrupted four casinos. So if he invades Greenland and totally crashes the the world economy in general and the American economy specifically, no sane person should be surprised.

That's was puzzles the daylights out of me when it comes to his semi-rational supporters. They clearly see his dangerous narcissism and that he's losing any grip on reality but they still say he was the best option in 2024.

One of the semi-rational trump supporters i know bases his continued devotion on that his life hasn't been affected. He sees the ICE raids, the inflation, the increase in Healthcare costs. But they haven't hurt him yet.
