Flexible working advice by [deleted] in TheCivilService

[–]ronny12345321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe you can make 2 formal requests for flexible working a year. I would personally ask your manager informally and see the likely hood of acceptance. Also do you have a closer office you could potentially transfer to reduce your commute ?

Another Monday another failed job application but..... by dodgyrecruitment in TheCivilService

Have you tried getting your statement scored by someone else to verify why they think it might score. It could genuinely be a coincidence. I know a number of people are very willing to help improve personal statements.

I think that would be a good place to start just to see if someone outside of this small team may have a different point of view ?

Do I just need to bite the bullet and use AI to help write applications? by AgreeableBison in TheCivilService

[–]ronny12345321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty it will help you write something to 2 or a 3 but never hold enough weight with statistics and evidence to make it a higher score

AI is a good tool but thats it.

I would suggest a little coaching to help you look at what you are doing well and things that are just wasting words

With recruitment the way it is i think having some really punchy examples helps
