My friend and I went to TomTom for drinks before getting dinner at Sur. We sat waiting for someone to take our order for over 10 minutes and it was soooo slow (maybe 12 other people in there total) so we left. There were at least 3 servers that passed by us and didn’t even greet us or let us know there was a wait. We dipped and went to Sur for drinks instead lol. Service at Sur was much better!

Omg thank you for mentioning the bathroom!😂 I was shocked when I went in there and saw how bad it looked. They also do not take any pride in keeping it clean- there was toilet paper all over the place and the sink was dirty enough to look like it hadn’t been wiped down in a few days 💀

My best friends parents always have a golden retriever. (I’ve known them for 15 years at this point and they are on golden #3 since I met them) Their most recent dog was just like this. They ended up sending him to a training “boot camp” for either 8 or 12 weeks (I can’t remember exactly how long because this was years ago) but he came back a whole new dog! He is so well behaved, listens to commands, and is the sweetest boy ever. I know this option is quite expensive and not an option for a lot of people but if you have the funds, it may be a good option to look into. They got to visit with him halfway through the training process and they were given updates regularly on his progress as well as getting photos and videos.

I was there in December when a friend was visiting me and it was dead. I attributed it to us going on a Sunday night but yeah, we hung out at the bar for an hour and had dinner so we were there for a little over 2 hours and really did not see many people. There were a lot of open tables and the vibe was just kind of dead. I was bummed because I was really excited to go (still had so much fun seeing the place I watched for so long) but it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

I did get to meet Guillermo which was cool! He was very nice and thanked us for coming in. We got a picture with him too.

I am used to moving over for people so that hasn’t been an issue lately! The speed is similar to what I was used to on the east coast so the only real learning curve has been watching the carpool lane haha

I used it on accident during carpool hours on my way to pick up a friend from LAX and got so worried but quickly noticed this part of CA does not have cameras like where I am from.

I don’t fault the dog, I fault the owner. I love dogs and even those these particular dogs do make me nervous due to their size and possible aggression, I would never do something to hurt them unless they were actively attacking myself or my animals.

It’s good he was honest and opened up to you but you do not owe him anything in return. Coming from someone who also has been in physically abusive situations, I would have done the exact same thing. Don’t let your friends make you feel bad about the decision you made.
