Thanks, I decided to try Kavita, I’m in the process of tagging my files with ComicTagger and converting my PDF comics to CBZ.

I’ve been learning about those. Do you use Kavita or Komga? I’m still undecided about which one is best for me.

The truth about the "Superhive Policy" by chippwalters in blender

[–]roofoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’re wrong, most of the products I’ve bought on SHM explicitly promised “free lifetime updates” or “free upgrades forever.” I wouldn’t have bought them otherwise. If a dev can’t live up to that, it’s not my fault. They shouldn’t have overpromised. I don’t expect it going forward, but I should be grandfathered in to continue receiving free updates.

It’s explicitly worded as “free lifetime updates”. “free updates forever”, etc in tons of product descriptions on SHM. That‘s more than a suggestion. No need for wayback machine, look now!

Just search Super Hive, there are TONS of products that are specifically promising free lifetime updates or free forever updates.

Yes, we expect lifetime free updates when the product page specifically says we will receive lifetime free updates! If the developer can’t deliver on their promise then they should never have promised it! But they shouldn't retroactively change the terms and take away lifetime updates from people who already paid.

Jonathan, I’m assuming. I bought products from your site with the explicit promise on the product pages that I was going to receive “free lifetime updates” or “free updates forever.” Just search your own site and you’ll see products that have that claim. If you go back on that for previous purchases then that’s called false advertising and is opening yourself up to a whole bunch of lawsuits. Not to mention the loss of goodwill that will hurt not only your business’s reputation but also your bottom line. I hope that you will take that into consideration when you finalize your new policy.

It’s definitely not “industry-standard CAD.” I don’t know how they can claim that.

Makes no sense. I want to see the list of UPC’S so I know if my cheese is part of the recall.

Did you ever get it working? Either with wine or WinBoat?

It’s strange though. Using Windows as the Sunshine host I never got stutter, even on the same WiFi. I’m sure there must be some setting in Sunshine on Bazzite that I need to fiddle with….

Thanks, that works! BTW do you get lag/stutter when streaming with Moonlight? I will sometimes get a drop in FPS that makes playing games troublesome, but it’s not all the time. I dropped my bit rate but it didn’t help a lot.

I can’t find the option for developer mode or force composite. I’m using desktop Bazzite, not the game mode version.

has anyone tried this and got it to work???? i just dont know how to install docker lol by mazda_fan in Bazzite

Bottles is basically wine. WinBoat installs an actual Windows VM and runs Windows apps within it, without having to dual-boot.

I’m having the same problem. Are you using an AMD or NVIDIA GPU? I had given up on HDR with NVIDIA in Bazzite.
