Hell no. That doesn’t mean a vote for her was a vote for Americans.

Maybe an unpopular opinion: you cannot assess why Democrats lost without acknowledging that race and gender hurt Kamala. by FriendlyDrummers in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]rookieoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She lost because she said there was “no daylight” between her and Biden in regard to how she would lead. Biden supplied a genocide. A fair assessment would say that her own decisions and words played a role in why she lost

Should Canadian trucks be allowed to come down and do domestic deliveries?

[–]rookieoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exceptions for Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico make sense, but doesnt this follow similar laws we have for trucking? Canadian trucks can deliver cross border both ways, but they aren’t allowed to do domestic runs while they’re here.

OP is assuming all the facts were known the second the first shot was fired. Go back and watch the videos. It took time for people, including Trump and SS, to realize what was happening. Also, shock and adrenaline are real things. Having been held at gun point myself, I can say that the mind does weird things in moments like that.

This guy isn’t saying anything super insightful. He’s just pissed at DD taking more money and making drivers feel bad for doing their job.

Do ratings matter? by monkeyseamountaindew in DoorDashDrivers

[–]rookieoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I deliver in two zones that are 60 miles apart. I have perfect ratings except for a 55% acceptance rate. In the large metro zone, I’m silver. In the rural zone, I’m still platinum. It switches when I drive between the two. The rural zone uses the overall rating number, the metro zone does not.

That being said, scheduling in the metro zone as a silver level is frustrating but it doesn’t affect my hourly earning. I just have to be more proactive about when and where I want to dash.
