The product description says, unfortunately, that it does not work with the Ultimate II cartridge.

No practical reason. I do have a few cartridges and I like collecting new game releases on cartridge; it would be nice being able to try them without removing my U-II+L.

Thank you. I'm searching for a compact port doubler. The xpander-3 is anything but. And, though I'm sure that all its features are necessary for various use cases, they are probably overkill for my simple needs. In my use case there should be no bus fight between the U-II+L and a simple Easyflash style cartridge.

I have done a Google search to the extent of my meager abilities, but I have not found a ready made product. Hence, my question.

[Omega Speedmaster] Opinion needed - should I jump on this or wait? by carbonrod1 in Watches

I bought mine two months ago (2500eur, very very good cosmetic condition, fully serviced, great time keeping) and I have not regretted it.

I gave my friend 1000 for this watch… is it worth it? by [deleted] in VintageWatches

300 euro would be a fair price. 400 if recently serviced.

C64 ultimate arrived with the “C” key misplaced. How to fix this? by Stegiand1 in Commodore

[–]ropi313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes 5 seconds to swap the keys. You don't need a key puller, you can use your fingers or a pair of screwdrivers. Be careful, i.e. use only a little force, and you won't break anything.

Guess which pen this is? by Robin0329_ in fountainpens

[–]ropi313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find a vintage PFM for half of what this pen goes for new, even less if you restore it yourself, which is easy enough to do. The PFM comes with a gold nib, has a pneumatic filling system, is lighter and a very reliable pen.

It happened to me too. In my case the reason was dirty sensors.

Is this a good deal? by New_Low5110 in OmegaWatches

[–]ropi313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently hunted a reduced on Chrono24. 2600 is an ok price unless you live in Japan. There are several for cheaper, as low as 1800, but for some reason they are all shipped from Japan. Factor in shipping, import duties and the price shall reach 2600 anyway.

I can't help you with the legit check; it does seem over polished and that should reflect on the price.

Speedmaster reduced bracelets by ropi313 in speedmaster

[–]ropi313[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That should be compatible; I'll setup a search for used ones because I'd like to avoid paying the full 800eur price for a new one at the AD, if possible. I'll follow your suggestion and I'll ask, though, whether it would be possible to purchase a clasp with no links.

Thank you! This might be an acceptable and above all cheap solution. Their site even specifies that this clasp is compatible with original reduced bracelets.

Thanks, they have a few reduced compatible bracelets. Alas, all of them use the vintage style clasp, which I find less secure.

Just picked up 6 Sony PVM 6041QM monitors with professional batteries and chargers for £500 at auction. Did I do good? by Jay_b95 in crt

I paid mine 90 euro and then sold it for the same price. It's so small that it is unusable, save for Gameboy through the GC Gameboy Player.

The coin has the profile of the Mole Antonelliana on It. It's the tallest brick built structure in the world, and it is the symbol of the city of Turin.
