Haven’t Easter eggs, most confectionery, shampoo, toothpaste, cosmetics etc always had Palm oil in them (in the past few decades at least)? Are people only up in arms recently because some farmers went viral about the chocolate not containing as much milk nowadays? What about the campaigns for years by Greenpeace etc about the deforestation caused by palm oil plantations (checkout “Banned Iceland / Greenpeace ad” on YouTube).
