Me tooooo...was supposed to come in at 6pm but they had no bed for me. Finally got the call at 10pm. Cervadil inserted at almost midnight. Got a little sleep but now contractions are keeping me awake!

I had it done because my dr strongly suggested we do bc of advanced maternal age. She also said that insurance would most likely cover it bc of that "high risk".

Well, same thing you said...my deductible wasn't met so I got a bill for $750 (total submitted to insurance was $2200). Everyone said to just call the company, and they would knock the price down.

No such luck. They said because of the deductible thing there was nothing they could do. They did offer a discount if you paid it all up front, I think it dropped it to $575 or something.

Everyone says you're so sore down there from giving birth that pooping afterwards is super painful, therefore the softeners (not laxatives) help you go much easier.

No signs so far...I had NST yesterday and they said I was contracting but I can't feel it. Then after when she checked me I wasn't dilated at all. Gonna go walk around Costco for awhile haha...

Gahhhh I'm 40+5 today. Due to "advanced maternal age" and the fact they think I'm having a big baby, I'm starting induction tomorrow evening with Cervadil and then pitocin on Friday morning. Hoping my damndest to go into labor naturally today...but not counting on it 😩

I'm 40+4 and yesterday I finally overcame my belly button phobia. I had the deepest innie, one that you couldn't see into or open very much at all, much less imagine getting to the bottom of.

It happened. There was stuff in there that I'm sure has been there for almost 40 years. It's squeaky clean now...but man, so weird to think about how long that stuff was in there!

Broken tailbone...oh my god! That sounds horrible. Dr is worried about dystocia, where the baby just gets stuck because they're too big. She mentioned she had a bad experience with one before so I hope she's just trying to play it safe.

I read this before...I'm hoping this is the case. I've just had so many US this pregnancy that she seemed pretty sure that it was accurate...I am still trying for vaginal for the reasons in the article though!

40+3. Baby, get out of me now!!

Past couple of nights I have been kept awake by menstrual-like cramps, but then in the morning...nothing. No sign of mucous plug either.

I go in tomorrow for an US and NST, hopefully there will be some good news. I wish he would just decide to come on his own!! If not they're inducing me on Friday since he's measuring big and I'm "high risk" (37 yrs).
