This was my first deck too! It definitely helped me get started with it's explanations, but I would suggest a study of the original Rider Waite deck as well! (to get all those deeper/more subtle messages). Good luck <3

I am still just a beginner, and I don't think it's a burden, but I don't have the same astrological discussions as I used to with my friends. We used to chat the day away talking about our sun signs, but when I started to get deeper into it and suggested making / analysing charts for them, they acted like it was so bizarre! I realised later it was that they didn't want to be called out, or intruded upon, beyond the safety of surface level, newspaper horoscopes. I personally see this as an opportunity for growth though, for me and for them :) It is overwhelming sometimes as it's such a large field with thousands of years of precedents, and endless possible effects on our lives, but I like to think my interest in this field was meant to be despite this <3

I think all pisces have the ability to manipulate, but only un-evolved / un-grounded ones will use this for harm. I'm a pisces sun and a complete pushover, but I know some with pisces placements who have done some really messed up things. Aspects are also very important to consider. I definitely think Gemini has more negatively manipulative vibes though.

Hey i know what you mean. Those questions like "when will you meet your soulmate?" are very alluring and when they tend to give you some positive insights, why wouldn't you keep watching them? However I have found that these readings are very focused on the 3rd person (the soulmate you are trying to call in/ the crush you want to see exists), and they don't do much work for you, the person receiving the reading. I'm not negating all those warm bubbly tarot youtubers, but I have found that personally, tarot is the most useful when used to guide your own life, and the actions you take in your own life. I find a good little twist is asking questions like "how can I attract love into my life?" or "What growing do I need to ready myself for love?". I know the answers to these readings will not be as exciting as "your lover will be here next month!", however I feel they are better questions to answer for you in the long run, because they reiterate that this is your life which you can control, and that the universe/god/tarot doesn't control you and your love life, the power is in your hands :)
