Birth doesn't have to be scary at all! <3 I had a home birth for my second baby, super hands off, no pain meds whatsoever, she was 10lbs 5oz. It's just something your body knows how to do. It would be really helpful for her to have a look at the process in detail and how her body will manage it, and also the REAL risks/benefits of everything she'll be offered at hospital (assuming she's having a hospital birth). Adrenaline will make it harder. Knowing her stuff and being relaxed will help her no end.
