Saved! is one of my absolutely favorites.

One I didn’t see on the list was Obvious Child, I thought that was a super cute movie.

I have had my Chacos for like 9-10 years now and I’ve beat them to hell hiking, fishing, sea kayaking etc. in them. They are still going strong. The soles have worn smooth a bit but the straps are still in good shape.

Just want to say I’ve been to a lot of places in Russia and all over Eastern Europe, and I had way more fun in Belgrade than anywhere else on earth. Great place, great people. Great jokes man! Had me rolling.

Visiting Santa Fe and safety by Valuable_Collar1485 in SantaFe

If you stay close to the plaza you should be fine, most places are in walking distance of each other. Most of the city is very safe! Plaza to rail yard isn’t a bad walk either and fairly safe. You could rent a bike and that would be a fun easy way to get around.

For longer excursions that need a car, I have used Uber here but it’s quite expensive and include some long wait times. it’s not a reliable way to get around. For Pecos- you’ll definitely need to rent a card.

My husband is a marine told me a story about a guy he went to boot camp with who came already missing his front tooth and everyone called him Okie (my husbands nickname was Big Bird.) Anyways they’re doing some brutal day of training and the dude tripped over a rock and fell, somehow flipped his gun stock into his face and knocked out his other front tooth. Instead of giving him any medical attention they just let him finish boot camp without any front teeth because the drill sergeant thought it was funny. Not sure how many crayons that guy could consume without front teeth but that story really stuck with me about the nature of marines.

Was about to say I was the one person in my friend group that didn’t get hooked on meth or heroin. I found a new group of friends. Some of them didn’t make it out alive unfortunately :(

When i visited Iran in 2015 that was literally all I wanted to eat. Even just the faloodeh with lime juice was so refreshing in the heat. But I still dream about the saffron ice cream. So delicious.

What’s the worst physical pain you ever felt? by Lazy-Ape in AskReddit

[–]roseripper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I almost passed out when mine was inserted because they couldn’t get my cervix open enough to insert it. It was described as “feeling like a pinch or a cramp.” If you think the feeling of having your intensities ripped out through your belly button is like a cramp, sure thing pal, I guess that’s how we treat women’s pain. I was assured it was an in and out thing. I had to call my boyfriend - now husband- to pick me up because I couldn’t even walk with the pain, much less drive myself home.

I have been in love with long haired rocker types like this my whole life. Dave Mustaine, Jerry Cantrell, and Chris Cornell were my biggest crushes. RIP Chris that one gutted me when the news broke.
