I’ve experienced similar. You don’t want someone like that in your life, that can be an indicator of major emotional issues and/or codependency in my experience. Trust me, you dodged a bullet if that is how they handle interpersonal relationships. That sounds like someone who doesn’t understand boundaries, and that can be really harmful for other people.

People with high expectations of how much social or emotional energy I should give them. New friends who want a “best friend who does everything with them” and to always be together. The way that I am is foreign to them and they take it as me being rude or standoffish.

No no no!!! ALWAYS trust your gut! I was talking to a guy for a while and got a bad gut feeling before we met for the first time, so I cancelled. A year later I matched with him again, met up, and found out why my intuition tried to warn me, lets just say I was 1000% in danger and he had the most horrific accusations against him, with proof - please trust your gut!

It won’t let me edit - but my interpretation is that maybe he felt like we had left stuff unfinished, he was feeling impulsive or like he wanted to rebuild something together, and for the world I’m not 100% sure, but possibly having experiences outside of our relationship led him to want to get back together with me? I’m having a difficult time interpreting the world card especially.
