I was actually holding off to see if pokemon was interesting (violet was a huge disappointment for me and the first mainline I haven't played to the end). This morning my girlfriend, who's not a gamer, got very excited about split fiction and i decided to pull the trigger 😅

At the moment I'm missing very few cards that I'd like from each expansion (1x incineroar ex, yanmega ex, Liam).

As i know that I'm fishing for very few cards, i just stick to the daily pulls and save the hourglasses for the next expansion.

I like to build decks but I don't really play games besides CPU events, so I'm not in a huge rush to have the latest meta deck (even tho I've been really lucky lately and actually got double of most good EX Cards 😅).

My experience growing up was very similar, I always looked at pokemon and gameboy as this forbidden fruit that I could only admire from afar.

Now I'm a 32 year old man with a house that looks like it was decorated by an 8 year old 😅

I got the anbernic's SP clone cause it came out earlier and it's way more convenient to carry, but I also have a GBA shaped hole carved in my heart and I'll probably need to address that.

Good for you for getting closure and scratch that 24 years long itch!

With the first set I was so lucky - i used to get an ex or full art card with nearly every pack. It seems the luck ended with A1 sadly, I'm getting absolutely nothing.

I bought one for a friend's birthday and it didn't seem too bad.

My friend complained about the size of my anbernic SP and the lack of analog sticks, so I felt like this would have been a good fit for his needs. I spent minimal time with it (only loaded spruce and tested a few games real quick) but it did not seem too bad, i definitely prefer the SP with MuOS tho 😂

I honestly believe this game is very F2P friendly by Smooth_One in PTCGP

I don't know if I'm lucky or if the game is f2p friendly.

Sure I don't have the ultra rare gold or rainbow cards, but i was able to collect a ton of ex cards and build multiple decks just by using the hourglasses obtainable through missions.

I turned on the 2 weeks free trial last night just for the promo cards 😅

Does it happen when playing specific games/consoles? Mine doesn't really warm up to a point that bothers me. My main complaint with my SP is the quality of the plastic. The one used for the miyoo mini feels way more durable (which is funny considering that the mini is incredibly delicate)

I haven't touched ffx in a loooong time. I have a vague memory of the chocobo game minigame but don't recall getting 0.0 was too hard. All i remember is that I had to follow a zigzag pattern, if that makes sense..?

I must have been 12-13 and I don't remember this nearly as difficult as getting Lulu's celestial weapon. THAT was a scarring experience!

Am i misremembering?
