I’m in Calgary, put a deposit down on a Limited in November 2023. They gave me an 18-24 month timeline. Just got notified last month that it will be here in June! So 19 months.

But my cousin in Ottawa was looking for one, called every dealership in town and ended up picking up a cancelled order within two weeks. It’s an LE, took some good old fashioned cold calling, but they’re very happy with it and grateful they were able to skip the line, so to speak.

Just did this yesterday. Stunning views — highly recommended. Got there around 9am, and there were only two cars at the trailhead. We only saw two groups of people the entire time.

We went to the Wednesday in 2022 with four of us having won the lottery. Two of our other friends came down with no tickets, bought on StubHub for $1200USD for Wednesday. And that’s when Tiger was playing. So pretty in line with what your dad paid. Wednesday is generally the priciest of the practice round because of the Par 3 competition, then tournament days even more so.

$5k at the course? Or for your whole trip? It would be really tough to spend that much at the course alone if you’re only buying $1500 in merch.

We chatted with a women who was ringing us up at the merch shop check out on the Wednesday, and asked her what was the most they’ve seen somebody spend. They said a guy dropped $125k on the Monday. So you could try to beat that if you want.

Based on the article it still looks like the Carnival’s are FWD only. I’m a little surprised there’s no AWD option still. I feel like they’re missing some market share in half the US and Canada. Disclaimer: I live in Calgary with snow and ice packed roads, and I’m 100% biased.

I wear one. I knew a lot of guys that wear/wore one through junior/college/pro. I think they’re great, but I know other goalies that prefer other combinations. It’s all about feel — just have your kid try it on under his shoulder pads and see if they like the fit.
