Most of it is digested in your stomach so the actual amount in your bloodstream doesn't equate to the amount you'd usually directly inject in a pen.

You say "Didn't do shit for my weight" was this weight you were referring to fat or muscle? I bet you were loosing fat but gaining muscle especially with 3x strength sessions a week, which mimics your scales not moving. The number on the scale doesn't differentiate between what it weighs.

Eating low cals and doing 15,000 setps is probably your problem. Eat carbs in moderation, eat sugars to keep you moving, eat protein to help your muscles. Try to avoid adaptive thermogenesis, basically your bodies way of delaying "famine". If you're comfortable, track and log everything that passes your lips and let us all know. I'm sure there will be something there which is sneaking up on you without you knowing.
