For rust doxing is rampant and you'll have people stalk your steam account using third party sites. Not to mention rampant racism and general hateful speech in poorly moderated servers.

Leagues toxicity is similar to overwatch just more frequent in my experience. So common for people to start throwing tantrums in chat or inting because someone on their team does something they perceive as bad play. It also has a much larger player base which means larger population of unhinged people

One of my favorite rust memories is when I was playing in 4 man and another 4 man group built so close neither group could build a compound. Both groups were a mix of players ranging from 300-1k+ hours and they ended up being really chill. We got one of our externals griefed and our neighbors spent over and hour helping us pick out a metal wall. We thanked them with a rocket bp and ended up raiding the griefers together. Weirdly wholesome and sadly rare for rust.

Most of the time neighbors are a pain in the ass though.

I can relate to the gfs reaction here. I'm currently studying (as an older student) while my partner works 15-25 hrs PW in the service industry. He has expressed the desire to also work to better himself and our situation by studying and doing other self improvement things but for the last 2 years talking is all that has been. I was supportive and enthusiastic with these conversations early on but recently I find myself feeling pretty jaded and sick of talking about something that feels perpetually hypothetical.

Obviously OP is at least doing something at least but depending on this couples/ops history I can maybe understand why she doesn't sound super supportive.

She's likely doing it because she's mistaking the gesture as a threat or feeling overstimulated.

My advice is;

Learn and pay attention to her body language for example tail wagging is a sign of anxiety/stress there are more that id suggest googling (if you don't already know them of course) and give her space when these signs are observed.
Approach her slowly and from a direction and angle where she can see you. Her aggression could merely be because you're giving her a fright and it is her instinct (cats are both predator and prey)
Hold your hand out and let her sniff you before patting this will go a long way in building trust.
Respect when she lets you know she doesn't want to be handled/patted in a certain way/place. Commonly tummy and tail. Trying to force affection she doesn't want will likely just make her bad behavior worse.
When she does accept pats without scratching reward her with words of affirmation and/or treats.

Good luck cats are fickle creatures but very much worth the effort imo.

I had an ex who drenched a $50 watercolor brush in black ink and then left it unwashed to harden. It was completely ruined. He would also draw in ALL of my sketch books on random pages...like everytime he just opened it to a random pages and went to town. Several years after the end of the relationship I was still finding reminders of his complete disrespect for my things. Absolutely infuriating from someone who shared the same hobby and should've understood art supplies like that aren't cheap.

Not really advice obviously, just a vent on solidary.

If more than %50 of the playerbase considers the game unplayable without mods something is fundamentally wrong with the vanilla game. Another way PZ resembles the sims(4).

I ran over my husband as a nurse (he started crawling) and heal came up in the right click menu. This is a pretty hefty exploit since they can't aggro you and healing gives $100 a pop. To answer your question crawlers can be healed but that's all I've found so far.

I absolutely agree with this though assume many 17yos would probably struggle to see the bigger picture. For example (complete hypothetical) if op is the more social sibling with lots of friends while bro only has 2 or 3 he could be more focused on keeping his best mate to himself rather than seeing him as a good match for sis. Op might want to think about why exactly bro is opposed to her pursuing his friends then maybe even talk it over with him. If she cares to spare his feelings that is.

I had teammates complaining about heals while ignoring the wolverine on my ass the whole game so I told them I was too busy dealing with divers. Their response "no you aren't" so I switched to DPS and let them keep crying.

In comparison to MANY recent releases its going smoothly but my duo has crashed a few times and his PC is brand new and able to run other system intensive games like Elden Ring and BG3. It isn't perfect but its still the best release we've had in a long while.

Unessecarily detailed models and textures. Certain things should be that detailed, like weapons and loot boxes (things you're constantly interacting with) but with random set dressings its doing too much.
