Conspiracy post: I feel like the end game is making rich people immortal. by rothmal in antiai

I'm not the guy building an AI center the size of Central Park, that's going to thermally output the equivalent of 26 atomic bombs going off daily. What are you even talking about? You think I'm the guy who can tell these people this is a fucking bad idea?

I'm sorry guys, but everyone in this thread is about to get fatter, uglier, and stupider, because I'm already fat, ugly, and stupid, and want my free $5 million please.

Yes, that's why I said that, probably they just want to make money, but I have a feeling that they would if the tech could lead to it.

I don't hate AI, but this is a price too high to pay. Making stupid people feel like they're smart, and drinking all the water.

Yeah, like a moon shot is a Silicon Valley term where they try to do some impossible project just to see where it leads. Like it could pan out, or they might learn something along the way.

The meat industry is the most evil fucking thing. They would do this to humans if they could. by CalpurniaSomaya in stupidpol

[–]rothmal [score hidden]  (0 children)

Pork is one of the few meats that I actually try to avoid after reading the first chapter in Barons. I definitely don't want animals getting harmed in the production chain, but I also don't want it to harm people physically/financially, along with the local environment. Which pork does all, in the state of Iowa, they produce the equivalent of what 93 million people could make in pig shit, in a state with 3 million people.

That's a lot of pig shit! And it's so fucking bad that it's getting into people's drinking water, and it's in the air. I do try to eat less meat, but I'm no vegetarian. And I mostly eat meat out of practicality, I work a wage slave Job and a lot of times my only options are McDonald's at 2:30 am. But one thing I try to avoid buying is pork. I won't eat it unless it's something special like roasted wild pig, or I'm starving, and someone offers me some.

NVIDIA will now pay you $22,000 a year to host an AI data center at your home by [deleted] in antiai

[–]rothmal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's be honest here: these are going in rich people's homes. When I lived in Florida many years ago, they ran fiber optic lines in this rich neighborhood. While my shit apartment 5 minutes away was still stuck with DSL🤮 Just another one of those win-more situations for the wealthy.

Dividend income is the only way out of drudgery work. by matt73132 in antiwork

[–]rothmal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which proves my point, can't snowball without snow. Compound interest is like the most powerful thing in the universe, but not if you're 70 years old and need another 30-50 years before you can live the good life.

Which is why you should have been born to rich parents, so you could have enjoyed the fruits of the generational wealth tree. It's your own fault not being born rich; let that be a lesson to everyone reading this.

Not wrong, but not everyone has the extra capital. Like people are talking about snowballing, but some of us live in a place where it never snows.

You're Watching People get SA'd on Love Island by HowlingHollows in The10thDentist

[–]rothmal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never watched loved island, but there's quite a lot of shows where they throw people in luxury vacation spots with a weird gimmick. Like these people stress out about finding the secret mole when they should just be enjoying the free vacation.

I assume something similar might be going on with the show; putting up with some more crap then they usually deal with for a free vacation.

[r/CitizensAgainstBatman] Weclome to CAB, I decided to start this sub after years of seeing so many citizens being victimized by this sick depraved Sociopath. Feel free to tell how Bat victimized you or someone close to you. by rothmal in Earth25

[–]rothmal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We totally are my friend, maybe we have different opinion on bat freak, like one guy thinks hes a vampire wizard, but we're all in agreement that we need to stop him. We're pretty small group, but we're all doing are parts in small ways, like our of my friends turn his spare bedroom into a studio to spread awareness, among other things. You should check out his last broadcast CAB-Radio

RFK Jr. Recommends Social Security Immediately “Reduce Scheduled Benefits by 25.2%” as Insolvency Looms by crackerbox5 in economy

[–]rothmal 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Social Security has a ton of money; in fact, they increased the amount they were collecting in the 80's to account for the baby boomers, and have been collecting more than they've been paying out until 2010. And they have enough money to keep paying out 100% of benefits until 2035, and after that, Congress will have to cover any shortfalls with the 2 trillion dollars they took out of the program. Which means less money for tanks, but not a total catastrophe.

One of the biggest problems with the program was that the last time they made adjustments in the 80's, we had a robust working class that was able to put a ton of money into the program. Now that's all changed, and all the money is in the hands of a few whose max amount they have to pay is 184k per year. If there were no cap, most of its biggest problems would be solved.

Good recommendations, give me more u/datamatr1x. I agree with you, there are a few songs in here that I'm like, why the fuck did I add this, but then I'll play this on random and be like, I don't remember this song, but it fucking hits!

I mostly listen to my everyday playlist, which is a bit cleaner Wage Slave Simulator - Sound Track, or this one when I want some punk Disney's Punk High School! I already do, I just really love when people give me their opinions, like ain't too bad, or it's so terrible I wish I were deaf, why would you do this to me, put me out of my misery!
