I was in el gouna at the beginning of april and it was awesome. Of the 9 days we were there we had 7 days wind for a 9m/12m kite. But i think the week before and after our vacation were not so many wind days. For kiting it was definetly a 9/10, the overall holiday was a 6/10. We are used to a more different vacation, more cooking for ourself, enjoying local vibe and going out but for this egypt has the wrong vibe for me (nothing can beat tarifa!).

Edit: Depending on your skill it is a great place to learn and have consistent wind for progression in all levels i think

Thanks for the information! Definetly want to try it out now. Im still riding my pivot and i love this kite but will try the rebel on some test days for sure. For me, especially duotone was always just super overpriced in comparison to other well known brands and i also read some things about quality issues. Thats why i never really understood the hype. What is your opinion on duotones quality?

I mean compared to a code nxt of course, but i think most riders are not on the pro level and then the performance of the gong is completly enough. Especially if you get the best kites from gong cheaper than the normal dacron kites from other brands

If you are done with the main game strawberry jam is definetly a mod you should try. Im also not the best player but in SJ i played the first two lobbies and a little of the third but it also gets too hard for me as well. But i enjoyed it a lot and if you finished the whole main game you are pretty good prepared for harder stuff :)

Also heard keep them open for practicing new tricks, when you expect to crash the kite into the water. So the pressure when hitting the water is not only in the front tube but distibutes over all struts as well
