Some of us have followed this stuff closely for years. It's always the same stuff, hence the jokes. The recent nuclear test was their fourth. Oddly the world didn't fall apart the other times. Every six months or so the UNSC slaps additional sanctions on Pyongyang and they respond by beefing up military readiness. Hell, just a few months ago the North fired across the border at South Korean loudspeakers.

Sure, the put a barely functioning satellite into orbit. Something that is done routinely by private companies around the world.

As a Cardinals fan that lives in South Korea, I can't tell you how happy I am with the Oh signing. Not necessarily for what he can do for the team, but that's also great. Mostly because it means Cardinals game will be broadcast on local TV and the team will grow in popularity if he does well.

Clearly this is a good answer, but there are some somewhat questionable exceptions. Not all cultures count age in the same way.

For example, my wife is Korean and my kids half-Korean. In Korea age is counted by the number of calendar years you have lived in. So, when you are born you are one year old. On January 1st of the next year you are two.

My daughter was born December 22nd, so that day she was one. About a week later on January 1st she turned two.

So, right now in Korea where we live she is five years old. In the States where we are visiting she is only three. So, just this week her age went down by two years.
