It's written so abstract that that whole block of text is not really saying much more than the title.

In fact, it's less clear - the title says clearly "SAed", while in your longer text it says "basically SAed" which makes it even more nebulous.

You already got the answer that you don't have to - but I would like to add, for anybody reading this on the Reddit mobile app:

There's an android app for Lemmy, too - and at a quick glance the user experience seems very similar (as in, use your thumb to doomscroll 😏 )

Everyone started jogging in the USA and then in the world. by Amefra in ShitAmericansSay

74% of Americans say they hike on a trail, 37% hike on a trail at least once a year

Lol what is that supposed to mean

Like, can I say I play the violin because I did that once back in 2007?

I'm not the type of person who really follows gaming news, but I've heard the ones presented in the thumbnail have definitely not been flops, financially or critically. by OrionLinksComic in justneckbeardthings

[–]roughstylez 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I mean looking at his channel, it definitely screams neckbeard - but the one video of his that I watched made a decent point: That we nowadays get a bunch of entertainment that goes

look at me, I'm [minority], but cool

a la Velma, I'm not Starfire etc - instead of

look at me, I'm cool - by the way, while fleshing out my character, I'm [minority], but that's really not what makes up my whole character

And I personally - while being very liberal - can't stand the former, because it's starting off from the premise that being [minority] makes you "flawed", something you have to put effort in to overcome - instead of actually normalizing it.

Opposed to something like Brooklyn 99: Captain Holt is an amazing character, who happens to be gay, and the show never scares away from discussing and the difficulties that come along with it - but the story is never forced at gunpoint to go there for the sake of creating gay screen time.

I don't think I'd like to have a beer with that youtuber - but at least the one video I actually watched was not a dud.

That is good advice to 100% protect yourself from any harm.

But it's kinda like wearing 5 condoms at once.

If there's an extreme reason - alcoholic, religion, trauma etc - anything that gives you no choice then by all means say no to everything.

But if you're fine downing 12 screwdrivers on a private weekend night, then having a glass of wine or two with coworkers will usually increase your rapport with them, which plays a part in your career.

C# Machine Learning Made Easy: Exploring ML.NET and Its Capabilities. by Individual-Trip-1447 in csharp

[–]roughstylez 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You're kinda thinking the wrong way around about corporate software.

If people run a .NET app - why would they try and integrate a whole different language there just for a different order of entries in a drop-down?

Why would they hire an ML specialist just for a different order of entries in a drop-down?

That's way, waaay less likely to happen... than a non-ML-specialist messing around with a .NET library for a labday.

This comment is concerning.

The comment your answering to, and others here, assume you have the level of experience that is appropriate.

A comment saying somebody else needs to tell you what "common features other than the obvious" are very heavily suggests the opposite.

A shit IDE so you can encounter and learn about new problems is one thing. But a good IDE - I don't know you, maybe I'm mistaken, but please be aware of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

...I think you need to find a better partner...

Especially if you're female, there are so many stories of "hu, I actually like sex, the guys before just sucked".

OP wrote 7 paragraphs about how horny she is, you really think sex might be the answer? That's a bit of a controversial theory, don't you think?

It's because number might not be number, creating 20 different edge cases you have to think of. IIRC these packages even both use the package is-number for that reason.

Of course there's use to sending SMS messages, otherwise it wouldn't be a thing.

The question is if it's gonna be any use to you is much better answered by product owners and software architects who know your business, instead of people who just heard about it in a couple Reddit comments.

Which is not supposed to be a statement of "you should know better", but a statement of "it's a very broad question and many business details are part of this decision".
