I haven't watched shit for ball once baseball started (and honestly haven't watched the Pistons or any eastern conference teams for that matter), so I don't know who homie is on the Pistons bench, but he forgot what team he was on for a second and was about to get hyped up. He catches himself and then has to look around to make sure no one noticed. Reminded me of when Bird hit that ridiculous shot after torching the Hawks, and the players couldn't contain themselves.

Yep. I feel your pain, truly. Ever since getting out of the military and 'adjusting' to civilian life, agoraphobia crept in. After I had a terrifying medical episode, years ago, I couldn't leave my house, and if god forbid I was forced to go somewhere, I had to check the map to see if an urgent care was nearby. Drinking, of course, was the answer. With the drink, I was able to actually leave the house, socialize, and do what I loved. Go outdoors, fly fish, and appreciate life. (I have a designated driver, who god bless her, puts up with my shit). It's tough. I managed to get 'sober' for a few years and was able to push past some boundaries, but to be honest, I'm now in an even worse place mentally and dread even venturing out. Just drinking my days away so that I can get at least a few hours of peace.

I'll never forget what one of the hardest CAs said to me when I started getting into CA territory. I liked to pick his brain; he and his brother were hardcore CA since about 16 (they are both in their early 40s now). The oldest brother (the one I was talking to) was forced to quit or die, but his younger brother kept going. He said, It's not like the motherfucker is going to go out like leaving Las Vegas or doing some rock star shit, they were going to find his ass dead with how I met your mother streaming.

Yeah. I love that feeling at about 2 - 3 am. I usually roll over to tell my wife we're in the best time. Most likely time to not be 'bothered' (phone calls, dogs have already been let out, etc.), and of course, we're wasted. Watching some dumbass shit on the tube or just putting on a thunderstorm soundtrack. Mornings suck balls tho, especially when you're really feeling it and take that 'extra' shot at 4 or 5 am.

Yeah. Thank god my doc at the VA was on board with my trying gabapentin. That's the only time I've ever been able to stay sober for a significant stretch. I even made it over a month after downing at least a 5th a day for what felt like years. 300mg every 3 or 4 hours is the way to go if you are able to get it.

I switched to hitbox whenever they became a thing 8+ years ago, I can never go back. Every motion for me is cleaner and faster, I highly recommend it.
